VIP Tour & Charter Bus Co

Great ride transported from Portland and back for 3 days. Much easier than driving.

VIP always provided very nice buses with great amenities. Along with those buses came friendly drivers who were prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable about where they were going. It takes a special person to drive such a large object in and out of certain areas, and VIP provides some of the best in the business.

A large group of us traveled from Maine to Quebec. The driver and the asst bus driver talked loudly the entire time. It was very annoying and we actually called the company from the bus, the boss called them, asked them to stop, but they did not. We sat in the front of the bus because I get motion sickness, but we couldn't stand it anymore so we moved to the back of the bus. Other than that we found the bus to be nice and clean, and it was a smooth ride. U think they should have kept their personal conversations to the return ride to Maine with an empty bus.

A wonderful company that have wash bay dump facilities and if necessary freshwater available to charge up your tank

Bad experience. Driver got lost and showed up late to the wedding. Prior to writing this review, I wanted to work things out with VIP and get a partial refund for poor service, but VIP refused to take any responsibility. Instead, they blamed the GPS. I even took responsibility for other little mishaps along the way, and confusion on the contract, but still VIP held strong and would not take any responsibility. At the end of our last conversation on the phone, VIP actually referred me to fine print in the contract where they say they cannot guarantee that they show up or deliver passengers on time! Guess I missed that one when I signed. On the plus side, we got to and from the wedding safely. I guess it's always a risk when you have to prepay for a service.
