My wife, daughter and I had a very enjoyable tour with James! We were fortunate to catch him on a slow day as we were his only guests. We couldn't have asked for a more informative and educational guide through some of historic Portland. The pace was relaxed and all of the vendors we visited were welcoming. Delicious food and drink greeted us at every stop. Definitely recommend it as a great introduction to the Old Port area. Thank you for providing us with such a great time!! We'll definitely be back!

This tour was an excellent way of discovering Portland. Our guide, Mike, was friendly, erudite and knowledgeable about the history of Portland. The food we tasted gave us a sample of local produce and innovative ways of developing the base ingredients. I particularly like the balsamic vinegars from Vervacious.

We were 4 adults and one child. As Foddies we were not impressed with this tour. Pros Good places and local shops Good historical information Cons For a food tour our group was expecting not to be hungry by the end of our tour and actually be fed for $70 per person. This trip is a tasting/sampling of local shops and eateries. One place we were not impressed with was Andys restaurant where the clam showder was bland with no flavor. Company may consider not going here after tasking spices at Vervacious. Our group decided we would not recommend this tour for foodies or hungry people. We could have explored on our own and found many delicious places to sample foods.

Randy was an excellent guide for the Portland Old Port Lunchtime Lobster Crawl. Restaurant selection was excellent for lobster rolls, chowder and moon pies. We also sampled several local craft beers. In addition, we had a tasting in a local spice shop. Randy shared a lot of the history of Portland and Maine in general. We were able to experience many of the historic sites during the walking tour. We would highly recommend this interesting activity. Well worth the price!

My tour guide was great. We visited a bunch of places and got to try all sorts local foods and drinks (soup, crepes, scones, etc). Fun way to spend a few hours learning about the city of Portland.
