Portland Paddle

The entire trip from start to finish was perfect! Joe and Tara were so knowledgeable, friendly and very organized. The trip out to the fort was filled with great stories of The harbors history along with the stop at the fort for a tour as well. Beautiful sunset to top of the trip on the return to the beach. Couldn’t ask for a better time and better people. Will definitely go again when we are in Portland. Highly recommended!!

Located at East end beach which is walkable from Old Port. We booked 3 hour private tour and found out rain was forecast. Company reasonable about changing date. When we arrived the following day it was extremely windy, and we were again asked if we wished to postpone. Having had some experience paddling, we decided to give it a try and were so glad we did. Joe, our guide was extraordinary. Knowledgeable about paddling and about the water and traffic in the harbor. Showed us some local wildlife and found least windy spots in harbor so we could enjoy our day paddling. Good listener and chose a paddle for me to minimize shoulder stress as I had explained about an old injury. Would not hesitate to recommend him or this outfitter. Had a wonderful time on Portland's waterfront, while avoiding boat traffic on weekend. We enjoyed their sea kayaks (Wilderness Systems , tsunami)which tracked fairly well and also had rudder assist to help fight strong current. Fun day in Portland with excellent outfitter and guide.

We had so much fun on our tour to Fort Gorges! It was so easy to book online with them and everyone there was friendly and helpful. Our guide was easygoing and knowledgeable. Can't wait to come back and paddle with them again.

I was in such a rush to go kayaking that I forgot my paddle. :( Portland Paddle to the rescue! They are so friendly and chill. Nice people, great vibe. Well done. 😊

Fantastic experience with this outfitter. We enjoyed a beautiful overnight to stunning Jewell Island led by a experienced and skilled guide. Portland Paddle was professional, responsive and gave my friends and I an experience we will never forget.
