Kudos to their hiring manager for recruiting the most pleasant and nicest staff you would ever want to meet! They did everything but invite me to their house for dinner. Highly recommend this place if you want to explore kayaking, and the area is just beautiful. You guys are great! Sorry to hear they will be closed for the season when I come back in October.

Rented kayaks for awhile (no tour) with my fiancé. Hes somewhat disabled from a motorcycle accident but they were VERY thorough with their instruction for him to get into the kayak & offered a lot of assistance if he needed. The staff was tremendous. They have a small changing room & they'll hold any items you need to leave behind. All instructions were thorough, the scenery was beautiful, & overall an amazing experience!! Highly recommend going! It was $25 per person.

I spent about 4 hours out on various bodies of water for the wildlife tour - it was worth every penny, including the generous tip I gave to Abe for being a fantastic guide. Tidal is super professional, friendly, and knows their stuff. I would never have known that Abe has been guiding tours for four or five years - he was enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and just plain adorable. Do this when you are in Maine!!

The delivery option was fantastic; they dropped off and picked up the kayaks right to the house. We'll be making use of that on future trips again. Plus you get great, unique views of the various islands and wildlife.
