One of the most authentic Italian cuisine we've had since in Italy. This family takes hospitality to another level. They were trained in culinary in Italy and brought those skills here to the States and you can experience the real deal. We've had many nice Italian meals nearby but the choice in flavors and selections of cheese, meats and pastas made me feel just like I was back in Florence right here in Marietta. Can't wait to go back and try a different dish here. Save room for dessert!
I've been going to the Smyrna location for decades. It is, if not the best Italian food in ATL. However, this Marietta location is not at the same level. The food was delicious, cooked perfectly the muscles but the ravioli pasta was a tad undercooked and calamari a bit chewy and undercooked. Not sure what was wrong with the chef that evening. Service was way off. We waited forever for our ordered bottle of wine. The appetizer took a while to show up as well. We ran out of water twice. New waiter? Restaurant atmosphere is very nice Italian warm feel with large and open space. I suggest reservations or go early as there is limited seating but there is an outdoor patio. Plenty of parking as it's located in a shopping village but the parking lot is very busy, lots of traffic. Would I go here again? Maybe not this location.
My favorite Italian restaurant.. Authentic, delicious, everything is great. Nice wine menu, amazing food. Pasta is made from scratch, noodles and all. Cute place with nice ambiance.
Service really in the higher end, and the pasta with white wine sauces are really tasty. The desserts are not as expected though, considering the higher price. But overall a good experience here, and may be coming next time.
Really enjoyed date night here for my birthday. We sat outside and the soft lighting went well with the moonlight. Our server was absolutely so sweet and accommodating. She was proficient in her knowledge of the specials and overall menu. I ordered a lobster ravioli and it was a nice serving and filling. The vinegarette and oil paired well with their fresh bread. I had their specialty old fashioned and I’d highly recommend. Super delicious. I’d definitely come back.
Family atmosphere, excellent food and great service make this place top notch. The appetizers Bruschetta, Caprese, Burrata cheese were especially tasty. Fresh ingredients and just right portions left no room for dessert unfortunately. The fettuccini was not the Americanized creamy sauce but a drier cheese sauce. The Branzino was a bit salty at certain bites but with fresh veggies it was great. Spaghetti Romana was really good. Someone in our party had the Lobster Ravioli special and said it was overloaded with seafood besides the yummy ravioli. The only oops moment was when the hostess dropped a menu on the floor then proceed to pick it up and put on top of one of our dishes.
Went to the other location first and then decided to try this one since it’s closer. The food was just as good and the location was just as nice. Easily my favourite Italian restaurant that I’ve been to in GA. I will continue to come back.
I love the family atmosphere. The food here is absolutely delicious and the calamari is the best I've ever had. And the way they prepare the veggies... they are bursting with flavor. I could totally become a vegetarian If I could prepare veggies the way they do. From the first time I ate at Mezza Luna, it instantly became my favorite Italian restaurant.
Oh. My. Gosh!!! This will be the BEST Italian food you will ever put in your mouth. The food is absolutely fantastic. Our group ordered the gnocchi, tortellini, the pasta of the day and the seafood fettuccine. We all were eating off each other's plates. Oh! And the lobster bisque soup had huge chunks of lobster in it. The restaurant is perfect and intimate. The service is fabulous. If Lilie is your server, you will be completely taken care of. One of the owners, Tony, stopped by our table and was so incredibly nice. We unfortunately don't live near the restaurant but are already planning a weekend getaway just to come back. You will not be disappointed. We enjoyed the food so much that we forgot to take pictures. That's how good it is!
So glad I found this hidden gem. We have never had anything we didn't like! The specials are always changing and I usually order those! It's pricey but a ton of food! I always have leftovers for the next day. This is definitely my go to for comfort food! I do suggest making a reservation on the weekends as the inside is small but other than that amazing!
