I was very happy to see a chicken with mole sauce on the menu because it's not all that common in Mexican restaurants and I love it. Overall, I wasn't disappointed. The chicken was maybe just a tad overcooked, but the mole was delicious, rich and savory with just the right hint of sweetness. The accompaniments we're pretty standard fare, rice and refried beans, and they completely forgot the tortillas I'd asked for, but then again so did I. Otherwise, the service was fine. Generally, it was a pretty typical decent Mexican restaurant, but that mole made it just a tad above average for me.
Very chic place, the ambiance was pleasant. My waiter was excellent, made sure that I had everything that I needed and made a very sincere apology when I didn't have silverware. There is definitely enough room to host a party. The best time to come during the week would be after 6pm if you're worried about paying for parking; the meters don't charger after 6pm. On Sundays the entire day is free. Highly recommend this spot. --i order 3 fajita tacos. chips and salsa were complimentary
This is a quaint place located in downtown Louisville, and after 4 work trips here I finally found a place I'd come back too. The food was great, there is a superb tequila option between 47 different kinds, and the service was friendly and responsive. The food is reasonably priced and large helpings fill the heartiest of appetites. I had the fajita tacos and had more than enough food. The chips were fresh as was the salsa and the mojito was a perfect way to close a work day.
While this is my first experience with this restaurant. I 100% enjoyed my experience. My family and I decided to Google the nearest Mexican restaurants and this one appeared. I ordered the Pollo Tropical and oh my! It’s so delicious! The flavorful combination of pineapple, mushrooms, chicken, & cheese was so delicious. This is definitely a top restaurant that I’ll come to whenever I visit.
This was the first restaurant my wife and I tried on our trip to Louisville; we picked it because it was close to our hotel. This place definitely didn’t disappoint. Quick and friendly service and the food had a great flavor to it. I had the Fourth Street fajitas and my wife had the quesadilla. Great portion. The picture is if their 32oz frozen margarita which definitely hit the spot.
Staff was friendly and attentive, restaurant was clean and tidy, and food was delicious and hot! I've told everyone, that wants to listen, that I had the best chicken chimichanga I've ever had, seriously! Perfect amount of spice and melty queso. I loved it! The margarita was really good too. My husband had shrimp tacos and said the flavor was "awesome" and also devoured a little bowl of beans which he proclaimed as "SO good". We visited around 4pm-ish on a Tuesday, so it was definitely a lull in the day for them we were on weird eating hours lol but they did a great job. Highly recommend!
Convenient place to eat before a show at the palace. Food is good, atmosphere is fun and service is excellent. Well drinks are $11 but larger than the usual.
Yum! Leaned more on authentic side than anticipated. So highly recommend the 4th St chicken. Crazy tender. Great service, plenty of chips with two salsas offered. Classic marg on the rock was a little underwhelming but mixed very well. Plenty of space and can’t imagine there is ever a wait. Decently priced.
I ordered the tacos al pastor and queso dip. The food was good. The rice was a tad salty though. I also ordered the peach margarita which was really good too. If you like Tex Mex and authentic Mexican food then I'd recommend this place because you get a mix of the two. Mostly Tex Mex though. Lastly, they have good salsa too.
I used to be a regular customer here before the COVID-19 pandemic and this was my first time back since then. I was glad to see they still offered tasty and reasonably priced lunch specials. The one I tried today was called "Fajitas Carnita Chimichanga" and was served with rice and the best black beans I've had in a long time for $9.99! Delicious!
