Great festival. Beer selection is above average for an event like this. Well maintained facilities. The last weekend there were shortages of some goods. There is enough attendance that the festival could be expanded. Overall the best experience I've had in Michigan. Already have season passes for this year and can't wait.

The Renaissance festival is a place where people dress up and act silly and pay extraordinary amounts of money for things that are extraordinarily cheap, mainly food. It's a fun time though. I would recommend going at least once. My absolute favorite part is the falconer. Shows you a bunch of cool birds of prey and gives a ton of interesting information.

Beautiful fairgrounds with relatively easy on/off highway access. Big property, so be ready for lots of walking! It is handicap accessible. There wasn't much to do, we should have come earlier in the day! It was so cool to see real live jousting, beautiful horses and talented riders. So much delicious food to choose from, but the apple cider and doughnuts we're by far our favorite.

Wow. This festival is huge! Try to go in costume if you can, it makes the day so much more fun. I loved all the minstrels and jesters wandering about. There are a lot of fun activities for children. And so many shops. They could use a shuttle to the parking lots, and since they make you empty your water bottle, they could offer free refills inside.

Went there for first time last year and had the most fun I’ve had in years. Lots of walking though which is hard for me due to a medical condition, but I had a blast and were lots of places to sit. So many shows, so many kinds of food and different people. If you’ve never been I highly recommend it and if you have, well, you’ll never tire of it!
