Midwest Rent-A-Car

My car has been in the shop which has resulted in my having to rent. This AVIS location happens to be the closest to my home and they have Sunday hours...BONUS! I think I have met everyone who works here, and they have all been great. The cars have always been clean, pick-ups and drop-offs have always been hassle-free and the rates are very competitive. There is some construction on West Center Road right outside this location, but it has not really made any difference being able to get to it.

Horrible experience at this location. Avis directed us here to exchange our rental that had a mechanical issue. After driving there we were told they had no cars to give us. But worse the woman was rude and aggressive. We had to drive to yet another location to make the switch. Last time ever dealing with Avis. Not if they allow people like this to work for them. One star is way too generous

Excellent experience! Rented a car for a couple months while we waited for our new truck to be delivered. Dropped off after hours on Christmas night. Would rent from them again!

I test drove a Honda Passport for sale at this location. I was told only one key fob came with the purchase. Wasn't told there could be another key fob out there for me. So I had the Honda dealer make a key fob So I purchased a key fob at Honda. Then weeks later a key fob is sent to me. Very aggravating. I do not recommend buying a rental car from Avis because the transaction if filled with mistakes, errors and ignorance. You do not deal directly with AVIS. But their loan processor Tresl.

The avis rental was very challenging and somewhat nerve-wracking.We had to exchange three cars to get one that worked. They gave a discount for our many troubles.

I rented a car from avis from LAX and from the time I was trying to pick up a car and from the time that happened. My experience was nothing but terrible. The customer service people at omaha airport and lax were rude and a minor accident and to deal with some one was chore. I got phone calls and everytime I called back noone answered got one letter in the mail that gave no information. Got a letter 2 days ago stating it went to collections and when I called to talk to them they refused to even talk to me. I have told everyone I know to never rent from avis worse rental company every! Hope someone else never gets the treatment like I did. All of the times i dealt with someone I was never treated like a human. Id rather walk to a further rental place than have the convience of avis at an airport!!!

First time renting through AVIS and experience was not the greatest. We had prepaid already so that was an issue of itself. Then we pretty much just got handed a car, did not even have the option to pick the car ourselves, which every other place we have rented for we get told this is what we have what do you want. Front desk could’ve even tell us what the car had. Wont be renting here again. I’ll stick with enterprise

Rental agent was very nice, location was clean and pleasant. The time to get checked in was super fast and the car was spotless and well cared for. The whole thing went really smooth with absolutely no issues. Omaha West Center Road location is awesome!

I have found this Avis location to be very easy to work. They are extremely accommodating, knowledgeable, friendly, and very efficient; I'm always in and out quickly. I've used other Avis locations in the city and the 156th and W Center Rd/Omaha Avis is, by far, the most professional and best to work with. I had to extend my rental by a week and they didn't gouge me on price like other places have.

Even after Advance payment I still needed to pay an additional $500 for my round trip for holding fees. The staff was rude and unhelpful. Not worth the hassle or the headache
