Madera side of the lake is so much prettier then the Fresno side. The campgrounds and picnic areas are very nice and cleaner as well 😇👌😇👌😇👌😇👌 There is also shade trees and much more sandy at the shorelines.

Cost to enter is $10 for the day use picnic area.

All great camping experience. And our camp host,  "Shirtless Steve" was really nice.

Bathrooms were horrifying. Saw 8 beetles in the men's bathroom. Went to women's bathroom, 2 more beetles came in very large. Size of my hand. Never come in here I'm serious please fix the insect issue. Campers next to us blasting hard rock till very late hours. Quiet hours is 10! Oh my goodness please fix these problems! Very not worth the price. This is not even close to a joke, don't poop unless you want an early heart attack.
