The rating is given based on the one-time experience I had. Overall a nice ambiance with an excellent view, worth going. We ordered two glasses of amazing Chardonnay from Burgundy, paired with fresh oysters from California. The combination of the two was divine. However, the raw salmon was slightly disappointing with not much flavor. We sat at the bar and the bartender was friendly and attentive.
Wonderful restaurant serving some wonderful seafood. Incredible flavors and service. Gonzalo our waiter was so on top of our orders and yet never once rushed us. We spent over 2-3 hours eating and drinking. I highly recommend this place for get togethers.
Came here for a team dinner. The seafood was good and came in really large portion. Service was good but the wait in between dishes was a bit long. Tables were organized in a way that’s really tight. Noise level is on the loud side, and thus not very good for a good conversation.
I would give it 5, but pricing was a bit too expensive for the bite size food options $22 for 1 lamb chop, i didn't order it, and service was good but i noticed between the servers there was a lot of miscommunication on what was being ordered and to what table it was being served at I was sitting at the bar. That is something that can easily be fixed. Overall, I will say ambiance was very nice, the servers were very friendly and attentive, and the food was incredibly delishes despite it being pricey for bites. It's not a big menu, it is bites and wine which is perfect for a long day of shopping around the Hudson Yards. Greek food is always the best and healthy choice in my opinion. [The Milos restaurant would be upstairs.] Yes, i would go back, and yes i would order the same thing because it was great!
Very nice, upscale restaurant with a great view. Most appetizers are family portions and I believe a few of the main dishes are as well. The main chef- the captain of the ship as he stated was very friendly. I believe he was also the owner. He visited each table and helped you decide on your meal. He even carried on a regular conversation with the customers. The drink menu had tons of wine to choose from if that's your beverage of choice. The cocktails were pretty limited. Would have loved a Hurricane but that was not an option. This place is very pricey and you do need to dress nice. This is not a place to wear shorts and a T-shirt. Especially short shorts and a crop top. It's classy not trashy!! We really enjoyed having dinner here. The food was amazing. The atmosphere was beautiful. The service was great. I would definitely recommend.
All of the appetizers were great! Especially octopus and the dips. I was not blown away by the lobster pasta 3 ppl shared. It was nothing special and I expected better. Drinks hit the spot though, specifically the Tears of Smoke :
Amazing fine dining, the restaurant is beautiful with great views of the Hudson River. The food was delicious, great wine, excellent service.
Dry aged lamb chops are one of the best I've had. Service is just as amazing as the food.
I have been to Manhattan many times, and have always been impressed by the quality of their restaurants. Service, quality of food, presentation, taste…. Milos FAILED in every way. We first ordered a bottle of wine, and when I tasted the wine, it tasted vinegary to me, which I told the waiter. He immediately picked up the bottle, smelled it, and said he didn’t smell vinegar, but a hint of Tomato. Really? Since when does a red wine smell like a tomato? Any quality restaurant would have immediately taken that bottle of wine and offered us something else, but in this case the waiter tried to deny what was clearly evident to me. We then toured their beautiful fish market, they gave us a huge sales pitch to get you to have the FAGRI fish because it’s so special and flavorful with “subtle notes of sweetness”. Ours when it finally came out as the service was extremely slow was dry, nothing special, and most definitely not as flavorful as we were led to believe. The presentation of the mushroom appetizer was flat, it didn’t scream at you to try it, it kind of made you wonder how could they have served something so plain. But in spite of the presentation, it did taste good, better than the FAGRI! When our waiter asked us about for our honest review, even with our desire to offer a genuine honest and helpful review, he got defensive and starter making excuses about how the hospitality industry in NYC had never excelled in gastronomy, and had suffered since COVID-19. Please if you can’t offer good service to all, reduce the number of tables. This was a major disappointment of a dining experience and a total waste for $600 for three.
I work at Hudson Yards and I have always had a pleasant experience at Milos Restaurant lunch. I decided to invite friends from the UK to enjoy a bottle of wine at Milos Wine Bar and that turned out to be a great disappointment. The waiter service was HORRIBLE! He brought us a warm bottle of white wine and when we asked him to get us a cold one, he simply said we should wait and the ice will cool it off. He never returned to provide any service and when he finally showed up, he told us we should settle the check because he needed to close out our tab without informing us previously of last call. If I could give my experience at Milos Wine Bar ZERO stars, I would.
