Minsky's Pizza

Was greeted by a lovely young lady by the name of Nikki! The atmosphere was definitely warm, cozy and family friendly. The Prime Cut pizza was AMAZING!!! The moscato wine was ok, but I didn’t love the spaghetti. It was just missing a little ‘something’. This place is certainly on my ‘must go to’ when we visit KC!Food: 5/5

I always enjoy Minsky's pizza and they have so many convenient locations now! Their Thai chicken is excellent in addition to their 5 Star Cheese. Specials all throughout the week too. Classic crust is my favorite but their honey wheat still has that good "chew". St. Louis style is good as well and they have all sorts of alternative crust options like gluten free and cauliflower too. Their collaboration pizzas with local BBQ restaurants are amazing so watch out for these limited runs. Dietary restrictions: A couple gluten free crust options

The south plaza location has been my favorite location to go to, even though I live 30 mins away from it, but I feel like it is slowly going down hill. I called to place more order and a lady with an accent answered by saying hello, not anything to indicate I called Minsky’s. I thought I dialed the wrong #, so I said hello and she hung up. I called back, same lady answered, so I asked if I had called Minsky’s and she said I did. I had to repeat my order 3 times. She finally put someone else on the phone to help me. I get there and approach the counter, but the employee behind the counter doesn’t greet me at all. One of my pizzas was slightly overcooked and dry. The only reason I gave two stars was because my other pizza was great. From the service to the overcooked pizza I paid way too much money for…VERY disappointing.

Ordered a large pizza online for pickup and it was hot and ready when I got there. I loved the fact that they handed me crushed red peppers which I don’t get from chain restaurants. The pizza was fantastic and I can only imagine how much more great it could have been if I had been dining in. I will definitely go back for my dine-in experience.

Very great pizza place ! The Margherita and Combo pizza was delicious. We did on thin crust and one thick, they were both excellent. The wings are actually jumbo! They were good, but a little dry. The salads were great. Above all, the staff was friendly and just made for a great atmosphere.

This is our favorite pizza joint! However, we usually do not go to this location , it has been several years since we have been to this one. Service was ok, maybe because we came an hour before closing . It was the closest to the hospital we had just left visiting a sick relative. The food was ok not like other Minskys we go to. My sister's spaghetti came out cold, she didn't send it back just ate a slice of my small prime cut pizza....which I thought was not as good as the other locations we cater to. But it wasn't bad, just not the best I have had. The salads we got were excellent! So not all was bad! Like I said before, I love Minskys! You can't go wrong ever, until this visit, it was not bad , don't get me wrong, it just wasn't up to par like River Market, Zona Rosa, N.Oak east ,and Shawnee Mission locations... might have been the time we went, but that usually never matters. Parking is on the street or, in back od the restaurant... and it is handicap accessible. It's a pizza place, so there is a kids menu and kids were there eating that evening! Will still go to Minskys that will not change!!

The pizza & wings were good per usual. We got the prime cut pizza and sweet & spicy wings. Both were yummy. My husband & daughters first time trying the wings & they really enjoyed them. Service was okay, the waitress seemed to be the only one working on a Saturday afternoon. She forgot to refill our drinks but I saw that she was being overworked trying to clean & keep up with the tables.

Botched Order Yet Again! 1. I waited over 15 minutes at the pickup lane after calling to say I had arrived. After going inside I was told the order was just coming but noticed my order sitting on the side of the bar. Spoke to the manager who chased an employee on break and he finally grabbed the order I’d seen earlier. 2. Upon opening the boxes at home discovered they got it all wrong and it was ice cold. The manager offered no apologies or refund when I called. He wouldn’t do anything to make it right. 3. The exact same thing happened two years ago but since I live in the neighborhood, thought I would give them a second chance. That was my mistake.

This was a spot we visited when we were in KC recently. The pizza was very good. It was a great regular crust pizza and the sauce was very good. I highly recommend minsky’s if you are looking for a good local pizza joint.Food: 5/5

I personally like my pizza thin like my style but my husband is from this state so I pretended to like the pizza, it wasn't my preference and I ended up throwing up a bit after. The sauce was okay everything else was ok...it wasn't bad but just wasn't my style of pizzaFood: 3/5
