The summer strawberry chicken salad with poppyseed vinaigrette dressing was fire. It had all the fruits I was craving, sweet strawberries, blueberries, fresh pineapple chucks and what tasted like canned mandarin oranges. The pecans were a nice touch as well. Don’t bother with their new fried chicken sandwiches though, it was mediocre. I do like that they offer an apple as a side. Sometimes a bag of kettle chips is not desired.
They really don’t read pick up orders well enough, this is now the second time I’ve ordered something and gotten something completely different. I ordered a Mediterranean bowl and was given what looks like a southwest bowl, literally not even close to what I ordered. By the time I got back it was too late to swap it as I was only on my lunch. Only leaving a review because this is not the first time something like this has happened at this location.
I want to thank Kathy and her team for ensuring that the Panera order for 15 box lunches for our staff and guests were accurate and arrived on time on 10/17/22. The only hitch was that coffee couldn't be delivered because they had no totes to transport it, thus 4 stars, but I'd give 5 stars to Kathy and her team for their conscientious efforts that contributed to a successful meeting for our staff.
Food is always good. Friendly staff. I always get my stuff to go but interior is clean and well kept. The Sips Club is worth the money even with the $1 increase.Food: 4/5
The Plaza location had been closed for a while due to the pandemic. I ordered the You Pick 2, 1/2 tuna salad sandwich and of soup. The meal took a bit longer than expected but it was tasty. The tuna sandwich was filling. The broth in the soup was rich & flavorful. The restaurant was clean. They had the open to let in fresh air. They could have done better in social distancing with the tables.
Worst experience at a Panera I’ve ever had. The people working 1/8/23 at 11:30 A.M. were very rude and could have cared less about the service or the company. They locked the front doors with no sign during business hours. Many clients knocked on the door and the employees looked at us and smiled through the glass. No explanation or information as to why they were closed. It wasn’t until an existing customer that was served before they decided to close came out and explained that she thought they may have closed, before we even had a clue what was going on. It was an unpleasant experience for the customers visiting this Panera bread. I rarely speak my mind but my mom, daughter and I were visiting KC and were shocked by this behavior. I would hope the Panera executives would resolve this issue before these employees run this Panera into the ground.
We were walking through the plaza and stopped by this location on a chili October day. We ordered soup to warm up. When it came there was no cheese on the soup. My husband asked if we could buy some cheese and the employee apologized and said cheese should have come on the soup and they remade it for him.Food: 5/5
The worst Panera I've ever been to! They missed on everything: 10am for breakfast and no Asiago bagel. No Splenda. No hot water for tea. Wrong teabags in English Breakfast pot and none available. Staff didn't care about anything and although it was virtually empty thr Cafe was dirty. Souffle was not hot. $26 for what?!!Food: 1/5
This is the third time now… I literally don’t understand what mental space you have to be in to think putting the lettuce on a sandwich before you put in toaster… it literally zaps all moisture from the greens and becomes a wilted soggy paper like consistency. Learn how to make a sandwich properly and stop wasting others money, you work in a service industry have some pride.
Ok....This is the second time I have been here and have been disappointed on my meal. PRESENTATION is everything and I'm not impressed at all. I got the Steak and white cheddar Panini and it's not worth $7.19. If Panara wants to continue their success they need to up their cooks on preparing our food.
