Great culinary experience. The restaurant is not serving your typical cuisine française but it’s creative. The food was excellent, the wine list remains affordable considering DC... I found the service good but not up to the standard of the plate.
My aunt and I went at 5:30 on Saturday before seeing the Swan Lake ballet. We opted to share everything. First course was a green goddess salad, second truffle and parmesan pasta, main was the beef with cherries and for dessert we had the chocolate mousse. We also tried absinthe- the restaurant offers traditional absinthe service. The food was delicious. The complimentary amuse-bouche was lovely as well. Our food was plated separately free of charge. Our server was attentive and friendly. Altogether a great experience.
My husband and I went to Mirabelle to celebrate our one year wedding anniversary. We made reservations for this special night on advanced based off a recommendation from a Sommelier at another restaurant. From the moment we arrived we were treated wonderfully!!! We were seated in a beautiful booth that allowed us to view the entire restaurant. When we opened our menus and saw that it said Happy First Anniversary we knew we were really in for a treat. We chose a bottle of wine off a recommendation from our waiter Jean Paul. He really listened to what we were looking for and made a prefect recommendation. The food was absolutely stellar!!! The amuse bouche was a whimsical play on peanut butter and jelly. The rest of the menu was well crafted and flowed from one dish to the next. When the evening was over our coats were brought to us, and they rolled up the specially printed menus to give us as a momento. Truly a wonderful evening that we won't forget.
Amazing food and great service! The tasting menu was an incredible value, considering the amount of food we got. The fois gras faberge egg was otherworldly. All dishes were superbly constructed and delicious. Not your average fine dining experience. Wow!!
Always looking for a good French restaurant and Mirabelle almost didn’t disappoint. The food and service were very good, but the experience was missing something which makes me want to go back again. Definitely worth a visit.
I visited here several times. Taste is good. They seems to change menu several times. Every time, the menu was different. The pics are the latest one. Atmosphere is gorgeous and great. Relatively calm comparing to other restaurants around Farragut square area. Pricy. Not reasonable.
Fantastic, fancy DC dining. Vegetarian and vegan options. Chef Alex came out to our table and chatted us up. Bar has extensive liquor options ranging from your standards like Tito's to fancy brandy. Would go back and dine again. Close to late night spots so it's good for a date followed by drinks.
Amazing cocktails and small plates at the bar or you can do more formal dining seated. The foie gras tacos and flat bread were absolutely delicious.
Went here for a fancy dinner for my dads birthday! It wasn’t busy at all and I was so impressed with everything. They had custom menus even that wished him happy birthday : We did the three course menu and every meal was unique and tassstyyyy! They presented them in creative ways. The restaurant deserves to be busy!
Fantastic Food. I tried oysters and boudin blanc as an appetizer and turbot for main course.
