Fun museum, with a beautiful aquarium exhibit. I wish there had been more fossils and fewer video game exhibits, but I get it. However they had some really great pieces. The nature hikes behind the museum are gorgeous. Hopefully the water levels will be lower next visit, as there were several trails we could not explore.
I'm not gonna lie and say this is an all day, knock your socks off museum cause it's not, but it is amazing and totally worth it. We had 3 kids, ages 6, 8, and 12. They will enjoyed themselves. My son hasn't stopped talking about the two headed snake and my niece enjoyed the live animals, taking particular interest in a gator that apparently had a jaw injury at some point. My daughter thought the outdoor dinos was absolutely amazing. It will only take a couple hours to go though, but it was well curated and appealing to both the kids and adults in our group. With it being right next to a wonderful playground, it made for a great afternoon!
Dinosaurs! Need I say anymore of course I will. This museum never disappoints. Always clean and the staff is eager to guide and educate you on the exhibits. The space exorbitant is very exciting as well I’m not sure how long it’s going to be there but in itself it’s worth the visit. Great family fun with live animal exits as well.Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNoPrice for adult entry$6–10
We were very excited to go here! It's such a wonderful museum, they have tons of interactive learning exhibits which is amazing I learned a lot in one visit. There staff is very nice and sweet ,the place is well maintained and clean. They have live exhibits of fish and reptiles, they have a cutest two headed snake and sea turtles that likes interacting with humans. In every section they have different games you can play, also there were sanitizers in different spots which was great they care about the safety of their visitors. One of the best experiences i've had so far.
Great museum for my 10 year old to go to on Spring Break! They had changeable exhibits and the one we saw was about video game history! The outdoor space was amazing, with several paths to take you around the back of the museum or all the way to to Pearl River! Everyone was helpful and friendly!Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNoPrice for adult entry$6–10
We had an amazing time, everything was so well displayed. And the information was very well displayed. The restrooms was nice and clean. The water fountains was refreshing. The aquariums was well stocked and cool. And all the reptiles was awesome. All the fossils was cool to look at and learn all about them. As well as the dinosaur displays. I recommend taking you kids and let them injoy it all. Including the awesome park and nature trails.
Their exhibits for children are nice. They have a section with cool fossils in it. There is a two headed snake here! Tons of fish and other aquatic animals to see. Once you're done with the museum there are trails you can take that are located out back. I never get tired of coming here. Their bathrooms are spotless.Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNoPrice for adult entry$6–10
Love the science museum! The trails outside are beautiful, so many fish and animals and turtles and whatnot to see... Which my almost two year old loved We went during the fossil exhibit and my almost six-year-old had a blast!
The exhibits are nice for the size of the space. My kids enjoyed the aquarium part the most. The price fits whay you get to see, and the fact that you have something you can do inside to avoid the heat is nice.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNoPrice for adult entry$6–10
Very kid friendly. I didn’t expect there to be so many exhibits for the price! It’s very affordable for a fun weekend and you can spend a few hours there. Snack stand is across the parking lot, and there’s a kid class and very friend people running it. They even have a snake you can pet!Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNoPrice for adult entry$6–10
