It's not much of a looker from the outside, with very sparsely placed picnic areas and a bland green lawn instead of any landscaping. Don't judge a book by its cover. The inside is filled with some beautiful decor, including works of art and true Mississippi gems, and the ladies here are so nice and helpful. If you get here before noon, they'll have a warm cup of coffee for you to enjoy. The WiFi is good enough that it's just too tempting to sit down and hang out for a while.

Clean, easy in, easy out. Even if the parking lot is filled they have 2 other areas, the picnic area, where you park next to a picnic pavilion, and they have the nature trail area, which is a small loop. The small loop has many parking spaces and 2 large spaces for motorhomes.

It's a highway public rest room. Let's get that out the way. Not sure what expectations generally are besides being clean and plenty of parking. This place gets an A+ in both.
Beyond that it's actually one of the most beautifully landscaped grounds I've ever seen at a rest stop. Plenty of shade trees, picnic tables and huge fields
to walk your dog, walk yourself, or even squeeze in quick jog to get your circulation pumping.
The actual welcome center part with the free water and coffee was closed when we visited. So unfortunately we didn't get to experience that.
