Modell's Sporting Goods

This place has literally the crappiest customer service ever. Took forever for someone to help us in finding a sneaker in the size we needed. I asked how much the fitted hats were and the lady at the register was just like buy one get one 20%off.. I asked for the price not the sale and she said very nasty is you want help get on the line. We were on the line and we were her next customer. We left the sneakers and we walked out right. We prefer to shop in places that actually appreciate a customer no matter how corporate the business may be or how busy they are.

Modells was great when you're a kid and don't know about larger sports retail stores like Dick's sporting goods. I'm not saying Dick's is better because they both have marked up products but they offer a ton more. If you're only into jerseys and caps I guess you can come here because they have really turned into a clothing store.

Sales girl on the floor was great with helping us find shoes for our 6 year old - so patient and insightful as to what would be a great fit. Their selection is ok - even my teenager found something he liked

Modells was very accommodating to an exchange without receipt. Upgraded to larger size of a Compression knee sleeve purchased a few weeks ago. I will re patronize this location in the future for my sporting goods needs.
