Incredibly helpful employee walked me through picking a board for my 8 year old niece. He put it together in about 3 minutes, listened while I reminisced about being a kid myself, and didn't' complain. Gave me some extra information about lessons--which I know they'd make money on, so it's good for them to tell me about them. But he told me about them  in a way that made it feel like he was more interested in getting my niece to love skateboarding then to make their company money.

My son started going here a few months ago, and the progress he's making is insane!! Every single week we see improvements, new skills, and he loves it! I highly recommend Modern Skate and Surf to kids AND adults. The staff is all ages, also. My 8 year old loves that his coach is only 15 lol. They are very nice people.

There is a lot to do and a lot to choose from in the shop. They sell skate shoes and clothing, as well as anything you need for your set-up. Has one of the largest selections to choose from in Michigan. Definitely coming back here again.

Great skate park! Lots of fun only reason it didnt get 5 stars is its lack of bmx hours.

Thid place is dope. The shop is dope, the park is dope and the employees are super helpful and friendly. Great place!!
