Totally unique park that you have to check out if you're a skateboarder in Michigan. If you're looking for big concrete tranny with lots of snakey flow, this is it!
Powerhouse productions built, designed, and funded this project for their neighborhood and it attracts traveling skateboarders from all over the world.

Both Drake and Riley had camps going on so my son and i decided to try it out. We both liked it, cool set up definitely gear'd toward more advanced riders. Check it out if your in the area!
UPADTE: SUPER DOPE PARK, they just finished an addition so there is a cool shaped bowl now! CANT WAIT FOR THE SNOW TO MELT!

Great place for pros and beginners. Remember, to raise your own skill you have to challenge yourself. Im 29 just getting back into skateboarding re learning all the basics and this place is definitely my new spot

This is a pretty impressive Skate park to find in Detroit. Whomever is responsible for building this cut no corners or expenses in putting it together and they definitely knew what they were doing through experience. I also think the contractor(s) and there works that constructed this also deserve some serious props for doing an amazing job. The concrete is very smooth. This reminds me of the park at Venice Beach CA. just on a much smaller scale. It's nice to see someone giving back to Detroit by offering the youth something to do in a place where mostly all the inner city parks have been decommissioned in an effort to cut down on spending. Unless I'm mistaken this place is free but I can't say for sure because the few times I've been here no one else was here.
To the youth that come here: It's easy to overlook and take for granted the kindness of others but just remember one thing, it was the kind act of someone(s) that cared and believe in you enough to spend there hard earned money by investing in your future. You may not grow up to be a pro but because this was here for you, maybe one day look back and realize your not in prison or dead because of this place. Yes that sounds corny and you can laugh but I speak from experience so I suggest you give back by saying thank you by respecting one another and caring for this place as you would your own and by doing your best and never giving up!! Just a little wisdom from a guy w/ a less then perfect past.
