This has been the most average Moe's experience for us. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't great. Food was good. Crew attitude was meh. There's a leak from the ceiling - the booth directly to your left when you walk in - got dripped on a couple of times.
Mike is I assume the manager always working and alway seem happy. Large portions , cheap, I end up having it once or twice a week for quick dinner.
I’m a big fan of moes. No matter what city or state im in it’s always been one of my go to spots. Unfortunately, this establishment in the epicenter has failed basic expectations of one of my favorite franchises. The first time I thought maybe it was just an off day but today after a good 4-5 months I decided to give this one another shot. 4-5 months the same EXACT issue. The food is far from fresh specifically referring to the chicken. The chicken seemed to have been over cooked and possible left over from a previous day. I went during lunch and I would assume this is when to expect the food to be fresh considering it was packed. I got a john coctosan and my chicken was rubbery I couldnt even finish it. Wasted $10 as I got queso put on it. I could not even finish it and put it where it deserved to be. In the trash. I know these reviews only go so far so wanted to share my experience but I have contacted corporate as it appears most of us are having the same issue with food never being fresh. As you can see my chicken was cooked so well it almost looks like steak. I had to double check to make sure they gave me the correct meat.
First experience at a Moe's. The concept is nice and the recipes are good, but the restaurant itself especially the dining room was very dirty and the staff was very lethargic, acting like they didn't want to be there. The food was hot, but tasted like it had been sitting on their steam table for hours on end because they were not busy at all. Overall I'm sure Moe's is good, but this one this day didn't seem up to par.
The Picture Explains . Should've taken more. But the cleanliness of the whole establishment is at a ZERO. Tables dirty, drink machine dirty, trashcans were filled to the top, bathrooms look & smell terrible.
I love Moe's, but I was very disappointed with my last visit at this location. I basically ordered a burrito in a bowl, but what I received was pockets of salt mixed in with everything. I believe the seasonings were not stirred into the food during preparation. I literally had three bites that tasted like chunks of salt. Since they ran out of napkins in the restaurant, they had rolls of paper towels that normally are used in a bathroom dispenser. So everyone is grabbing the roll and tearing off pieces. And of course, trash cans were overflowing to the point where everyone simply put their trays, with food on top of the trash receptacles. I had to let the cashier know this was happening despite it being in clear view from the register. As a business owner, I know we sometimes disappoint our clients, but this experience was a complete failure in my opinion. It was obvious that this location was understaffed, which is surprising considering that it is Uptown and directly across the street from the Spectrum Center. I'm sure our conference was not the first to held there.
When we were there, the crowd had been big enough that the only two employees were overwhelmed. The food e.g. Steak, Pork, Black beans was running out. There was trash on the floor. For a Saturday on a weekend with a big game in town should have been more employees available to have the restaurant clean and food available. There was limited places for us to grab lunch so we got our meal and it was good enough... but we were not comfortable with the uncleanliness and lack of food options.
Went with family while at Epicenter. The place was pretty full and quite a wait. When we got our food the chicken was cold and didn't begin to melt the cheese. The chips were stale. We went back to ask for different chips. They were better but only a few eaten even with queso. Usually there is not a chip remaining when we eat Mexican. By far the worst Moe's experience we've had.
I went to this location yesterday and the service from one young lady and the manager was awful. My friend was waiting for chicken to be prepared and watched as my meal was being prepared. The young lady had an attitude the whole time, she just tossed the items on my bowl, and then grabbed a handful of meat WITH HER HANDS they were gloved and dump the meat onto her tortilla. We then asked to speak with a manager and he replied to us with so much disrespect and no remorse. I won't be returning to this location as long as Brandon is the manager.
Ordered online to pickup. Got there 10 minutes after the pickup time and our food hadn't even been started. Found out that 2 of the 3 working were hanging out in the back. Asked to eat in since it wasn't ready, but the dine-in area was disgusting. I counted 8 dirty tables not including our own which we wiped down and several chairs had flies and food on them. Both bathrooms were dirty with paper towels, trash, and liquids ?. We rushed to finish our food, which was NOT fresh at all, just so we could leave. I'm honestly upset for having to pay for that. I felt worse leaving this Moe's than I did before going in.
