I think I just had the best burrito and dip cheese with chorizo!! The place was not packed so that was good. The atmosphere was nice, staff was very attentive and always checking on us. It has a parking lot next to it so that is a plus! I think the plate presentation can improve a lot. A little red and green can make a big difference. Maybe serving the salad on the same plate instead of a bowl, or use colorful dinnerware. Many people, like yours truly, are what I call “visual eaters” so presentation plays a big role when I choose a plate. However, the burrito that I ordered was very good. I would come back for more .
This little place has some good tacos, chips and decent drinks. The fish tacos and chicken tacos are really good and the staff is excellent! Check it out!
This place looked really good from outside but from inside can use a little upgrade of ambiance. We were greeted by very great hostess. Our server was also nice and mostly attentive. We got ENCHILADAS de HUITLACOCHE, that was hood tasting. It came with side of rice and beens. I feel like it was joke the amount they gave us. I had to order some more on the side. We also realized that they cap complimentary Salsa and chips to only 2 serves. Most places gives you as many, no questions. We were also surprised by $3 split fee, we share the food. As we didn’t wanted to order too much and let it go to waste. Will give be going 1 more time to try some more food. For now overall 3.80.
I love coming in for their guacamole and chips it’s delicious. The house margaritas are very good as well not too strong but you can definitely taste the liquor. I will be back.
Absolutely loved their enchilada mole. Boyfriend had their rice and chicken said the chicken was a lil bland but he loved the salsaDine in: YesOutdoor seating: YesTakeout: Yes
I had the green and red enchiladas and a chimichanga with their guac here. The enchiladas were honestly a bit but their chimichangas were the star of the dish. The guac was very cilantro heavy and was honestly the only thing I tasted which was a shame but it could be totally personal preference. Their drink menu was great though!Recommended dishesChimichanga
Best carne asada tacos in Charlotte! I’m from San Diego and gave up on finding good carne asada but they were so good here. Perfect fresh corn tortillas, amazing meat, and then lime, cilantro, and onion - exactly as it should be so glad I found this spot!Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: YesTakeout: YesDelivery: Yes
Used to enjoy this place, went there last night for new years and had an awful experience. My friend and my partners dishes were doused in lime to the point of unenjoyable. My own steak tacos just smelled off, like barf off, couldn’t get myself to eat them. And I love tacos, I once ate 36 tacos in a week. I don’t like leaving negative reviews but we felt sick all night, put the new years off to a great start. Service was good, but the food was bad.
Because I am of Hispanic descent, my taste buds are spoiled and I would like the food to be spicier and more seasoned. But the food is good, clean, and fresh. The salsa is tasty and the guac is very fresh. I had the chicken taco salad and the cilantro ranch dressing was fantastic. Creamy consistency and all the flavors nicely combined. The chips are fresh as well. I did not have any drinks other than water. We got seated very quickly, and our server, Chey, was very polite and attentive. Service was great. Totally recommended this place.
My food was delicious, made fresh and served quickly by a very nice waitress. Atmosphere was very quiet and cozy. They are situated uptown across from Paul Mitchell beauty School. We went on a Monday there were hardly any people there. Social distancing and covid procedures were being observed. Free parking was provided just across a small street. The menu is now online, one was not offered at the table. But I also didn't ask for one. Items range in price from $9-$14 My food wasn't super hot when it arrived but it was still delicious. My boyfriend's food was also good but it was clearly over salted. We didn't ask for it to big fixed, and he still enjoyed it. I recommend this restaurant and would definitely go there again.
