Momentum River Expeditions

3 days on the Lower Klamath with a Waldorf School 8th grade group just last month. Excellent equipment, guides, and office staff. Dealt with unique challenges of our group including medical issues and dietary considerations. Met all our concerns and expectations then exceeded them! My background is in commercial recreation (paddle sports) and outdoor education. Every member of the Momentum team were exceptional! They were excellent at the logistics, wonderful with interpersonal dynamics, and spectacular at on water guiding. As a participant, I was able to observe how they made slight changes that greatly improved the experience for both students and adults on the trip. I would highly recommend Momentum River Expeditions to those seeking a exceptional, professional, peak outdoor experience.

I have been in the outdoor industry for over 30 years so I am trained to notice the little details that the average consumer might overlook. I was impressed with Momentum from the moment they picked us up until the time they dropped us off. It was first class service all the way from the guide to the driver to the food. Clearly, the most important consideration is safety. Unlike many guiding services around the country who use college students as guides, Momentum's staff are professional guides. They have thousands of hours on the river and it is evident in their maturity and confidence. With safety taken care of, you can relax and just have fun and their guides are committed to that. These folks are running a top notch company and I wouldn't even consider going elsewhere.

We just returned from an epic 4 day Momentum rafting trip down the Illinois river. This was a fantastic experience and an incredible bargain based on all we got for our money. We were led by 2 awesome guides who made us feel pampered even though we were in the middle of a wilderness area. Cooper is a natural leader with a charismatic personality combined with outstanding technical skills. He was a wealth of knowledge about the natural history of the area and was also a great teacher of rafting and paddling technique. Andy is a perfect southern gentlemen who is so strong he should be on the cover of a box of Wheaties. I had complete confidence in these 2 fine young men who kept us safe and made this one of my favorite trips ever. We are already planning our next Momentum trip. WTG Andy and Cooper!

Just did the 2 day overnight on the upper kalmuth. What a great 2 days, on a beautiful river, for our family. Great rafting, fresh food and very comfortable camp! Our guides were wonderful. They kepted us safe but still so fun! Great job by all.
