We had a wonderful experience here! The food was delicious, and the drinks were descent enough! We ordered the popular sticky ribs appetizer- highly recommend! We then ordered the spicy tan-tan and their dipping noodles. The spicy tan-tan broth was thick and flavorful. Honestly, though, I didn’t find it to be very spicy. No problem - they gave us chili oil upon request! We would definitely recommend this place!
We came here for a late lunch and saw empty tables, but were told that it would be a 5-10 min wait. We did. Later we were seated on the patio and noticed other empty tables. comment: the spacing of the tables is nice We placed our order and then waited, and waited. So this story is really about the service 2-stars. We received the story of "the computer ate the order, we need to reboot it and do orders manually." This would have been passable if other tables had a similar experience, but other people appeared to be getting their food. Anyway, the other servers ended up delivered our drinks and meal. Food = 3.5 stars, Service = 2 stars, Value for money = 2.5 stars, Environment = 4 stars. Our favorite was the karaage. Juicy and crispy.
Hands down the best vegetarian ramen broth I've ever had. Extremely creamy and flavorful. I added an egg my favorite part and it did not disappoint. Noodles have a great chewy texture as well. The sake paired perfectly with the spicy broth. 11/10
Got the spicy Dan Dan and pork ribs as part of the set combo. It was quite spicy for me but not unbearable. I have a moderate tolerance for spice. Pork ribs were delicious and staff came to check frequently. Also order the sake flight that came with an info card for 4 2 oz sakes.
The noodles we ordered tasted fine. But we were not impressed by the service quality there. Due to staff shortage, we were told that we needed to wait for 30 minutes and we could not leave because they don’t do texting the customers. We waited there for over one hour and then found our name was crossed out. And they did not even apologize for it. In total, we waited about 80 minutes for this bowl of the noodle. I understand they are short of stuff but hope they will improve the service to their customers.
This place is mostly an outdoor sitting and it rained prior to our reservation. The host/Manager greeted us and ensure we’re not waiting in the rain while we wait for them to dry our table. The only issue that we had with this place was the service, besides the host, we waited a long time for food, drinks, and our bill. The restaurant wasn’t full because of the rain so we were surprised with how slow the service was. I would’ve given 5 stars because the food was delicious and our sashimi was fresh. The service definitely needed a lot of work. Food wise, delicious!!! It’s good to experience at least once!
This is the casual spot from the upscale restaurant at the top. The baos were super soft and the pork belly was incredible. Tuna poke bowl was pretty decent from what I’ve had, definitely 100x better than the offer from Cheesecake Factory skip the frozen lager. Our server Miguel was nice, quick, and efficient.
The ramens here are excellent, and the sweet cocktails are very good too. Service is friendly and attentive, and prices are quite reasonable for Waikiki. The outside tables are quite nice. In other words, we like everything about this place.
For such a central restaurant right on the Waikiki strip, I was genuinely surprised how good the food was especially the sushi, which was extremely fresh and came with real wasabi. Sticky ribs have been mentioned a lot and did not disappoint, but my highlight was the soft shell crab bao. It was so fluffy and tasty with just a touch of delicious sauce and an entire crab squished inside. The ramen was good, but not mind blowing for me. Everything else shone, and the sake taster was exceptional.
Amazing!! I was hesitant to come here because my daughter kept talking about Ramen and I didn't want ramen. 8m so glad we came! We had the sticky ribs. I don't like ribs cause I feel like you should not have to fight the meat on a bone. These were so tender and so flavorful. We are considering coming back before we head to the airport. The ahi tacos were very flavorful. It definitely had the spice it talked about. My daughter said the ramen was amazing. Service was impressive. Super attentive but not overly so. The view is beautiful.
