Dr. Halem had done a procedure on me before the pandemic that healed perfectly. Went again for another issue today and I'm so glad I came back. She is simply great at her job in a world where it is not always easy to find a good trustworthy doctor with great bedside manners. The office is impeccable as a bonus.

Great dermatologist! I've been going to Dr. Halem for a couple years now. Highly recommend for all sorts of concerns. Sometimes the office runs a little late, but that's because she takes her time with each patient she sees and you don't feel rushed once you're with her.
I always have the most amazing experience with Dr. Halem. Her office is beautiful and so clean ever time I go in. She pays so much attention to detail with every service and is beyond talented. Sometimes there can be a wait, but she is so worth the wait!
I was a patient of another dermatologist and had to have a mole removed promptly before moving out of the area, and Dr. Halem was kind enough to fit me within days even though I wasn’t her patient. I was very appreciative during this stressful time
Had a terrible experience at this place. We saw her once and paid for the visit, although she seemed disinterested and hasty. She claimed to not be able to find the records that had been hand delivered by our previous doctor, and after months of asking, now has said we have to pay to retrieve them from a document storage center. Although she claimed her office was accessible it actually has stairs from the street, making it very hard to get my husband into the office to begin with. I've now paid over $100 for our medical records, and consider this completely unprofessional.
I'm long overdue for a review of Dr Halem. Had a wonderful experience in her office. It's a beautiful inviting space, state of the art, with a wonderful staff. I didn't even have time to get into the article I was looking at before being called into the treatment room, into which Dr Halem promptly appeared. She put me at ease instantly, and although I tend to be a pretty easy going patient, she happens to be an exceptional doc. Highly recommended!
Dr. Halem is the best! I trust Dr. Halem wholeheartedly. She is the smartest board certified dermatologist I know. From skin conditions, to stubborn acne, skin tags or keloids, she has you covered. I was originally referred to Dr. HALEM because of her expertise to treat a keloid over 5 years ago. I trust her with my skincare needs. Dr. Halem’s office location is prime!! Located directly across from the MET & Central Park East, the bright white office is gorgeous & relaxing, allowing you to escape from the hustle and bustle of NYC into a chic and modern space! Dr. Halem has great bedside manor, and speaks to you along the way which allows me to be comfortable. She is a good communicator and very knowledgeable.
