Monro Muffler Brake & Service

I had tires shipped there from Tirerack. I called and made an appointment for 4:30 PM the next day. When I showed up to drop the car off the employee who took my keys told me it would be about an hour and a half. I was already wondering why they quoted me almost triple the average time to perform the service (Google it) and I was incensed when I returned about an hour later to find my car wasn't even in the garage yet. I asked a different employee what the deal was and he told me that my car would be ready by closing time (7 PM). Two and a half hours for a mount and balance WITH AN APPOINTMENT? I told him to give me my keys and that I'd come back tomorrow on the condition he guaranteed my car would go in the garage at 4:30 PM sharp. I brought my car back the next day and they started working on it as soon as I dropped it off. It still took them over an hour to mount and balance, which is slow considering they only had to pull tires off three of the rims (I swapped a bad rim out with a new one). They were very apologetic and gave me 25% discount which is the only reason they didn't get one star. I doubt I'll go back if I can find a nearby place to mount tires I didn't buy from them.

I went to Monro Muffler in Fall River today with my 1956 MGA for an exhaust leak. I am very pleased to see how professional Evan was, he took care of my situation plus other items he had found that needed attention. The price was very fair also. I would definitely go back for service for any of my automotive needs. Thank you again Evan and crew. Ill make sure to pass the good service on to my friends.

Used to be a good experience but the past 3 times I went there was a time issue. First it was supposed to be a half hour wait that turned out to be an hour & a half. Second time I called & they said "come right in it's a half hour wait tops". When I get there they couldn't even see me b/c they we're so busy! Then finally a third time (only b/c I had no where else to go) I call & ask specifically are you sure it's a half hour wait, how busy is it? He reassured me that if I came in it would be a half hour wait so I drive there. He asks if I'm dropping off the car & I say no. He then says well I can "maybe squeeze you in before the end of the day"!!! THAT WAS 2 AND A HALF HOURS FROM THEN!!! I'm all set w/ that place! Time for a new oil change place!

If I could give it a zero I would!!! I was told it would take 35 minutes to balance 4 tires (already mounted on wheels) and swap the left tires front to back and back to front. It took them 45 minutes to an hour just to put my car on the rack and has been on the rack for an hour so far with only 1 tire balanced ............. not happy. ZERO STARS Update....2 1/2 hours later....done

My Nissan went in today for some suspension parts everyone was very nice and got my car done quickly. I will definitely be getting more work done here again.
