Monticello Jellystone Park

We just had a great camping experience here. I'm not sure why there are so many negative reviews about the mgmt. I had numerous interactions with the staff as well as the owner Chip, and everyone was very friendly and helpful. We were very impressed with the campground and intend on staying again in the future.

Sad disappointment for the family especially for the kids. Basically just a boring overcrowded, overpriced campground. Campsites are uncomfortably close to each other. Encountered several drunk people including minors. The bathrooms stunk of urine and the toilets were horribly dirty. If you want to experience a real Jellystone park visit the Minnesota park, well worth the drive and loads of fun for the whole family. We are native Iowans, but will never return to this park and would NEVER recommend it to anyone! 👎😜

Very family friendly, lots of activities, some sites more spacious than others.

Really wonderful place!! Very clean, lots of staff, many activities for the kids. We'll be back!!

The park is a very nice place, with lots of fun activities for kids. It's too bad that the guy running it, Chip I believe is his name, and his son are the worst camp hosts I've ever experienced. Extremely rude, and disrespectful on several instances with him. We have a group of close to 15 friends that camp together just about every holiday weekend, and we will never return to this campground again. I really wish the Jellystone Park organization could find out about how their name is being represented by these guys, and that they could be replaced.
