At the time if need I contacted Mt. Olivet. They were very pleasant and understanding. The staff understood my needs and were able to deliver flawlessly and with compassion. Thank you to the staff for your care.
We have a family plot here. The service was exemplary. Rashad was available to answer questions and assist us through the process. I recommend them and him.
Hearing the 2nd Line Music Playing During the services. and learning the culture here is so very unique. I was here for 2 years installing the Granite on the new sections, and loved every day of it.?FThers Day is TRULY CELEBRATED here!
My experience with Mount Olivet was very professional. Ms. Latesha Harrison Johnson was very kind and understanding during our time of bevreament.
My family and I have interred many relatives at Mount Olivet, including my mother. During each visit, we have met with respect, patience, and kindness. I would definitely recommend Mount Olivet.
I have brought to managements attention that the mausoleum which is in front of the property is HORRIBLE!! The lights have not been working for years and the paint is non existent. I have even offered to provide paint as well as labor. This problem has been brought to their attention for over two years and absolutely nothing is been done. If you care about your loved ones, please look elsewhere!!! The only thing that motivates them is money, after that your loved ones are forgotten about!!! I wish I could give them a negative rating because one star is giving them too much!!
Mount Olivet refused to bury our family member because we had a disagreement with their new policy that was not stated in the original contract. They made sure they took the payment first and deposited it before bringing the new information to us. Our family was fortunate enough to have another grave site and the money to bury our loved one. Mount Olivet tied up the money we paid them until after we held the funeral. Thank God that He doesn't sleep nor slumber.
Mr Stephen did an excellent job with explaining and pointing out certain information I may have missed in the daze of me thinking this entire experience I am having is real. He was patient and even called me to make sure I understood everything. Thank you Mr Stephen!
Make sure your loved ones know what they are getting into before they decide to be buried here. They charged more to move the previous body than to bury my grandmother. They also don't take life insurance. When I went to pay for her name scroll, the person handling our plot told me repeatedly that it would be $400 and when it came time to pay, suddenly he said that we have to get a large scroll for $450 and only volunteered this information after i called to ask why the paperwork said $450 and not $400. They have made a business out of death and will take every penny you have.
