St Vincent De Paul Cemetery

The cemetery office was super helpful in confirming the location of my ancestors in this cemetery. Beware -- there is another cemetery of the same name Uptown. I highly recommend calling the office before venturing there. If you visit M-F, they are even able to radio one of the caretakers to meet you there when you arrive, which I also strongly recommend. A shout-out to Shawonda in the office for going the extra mile and to caretaker Tyrone for guiding us to the right spot in the cemetery and generously sharing his knowledge.

Visited today looking for a specific gravesite and had trouble locating it. Found a groundskeeper who walked with us until we found it. He was very kind and helpful! I think he said his name was Clarence. I hope he gets a promotion someday! Cemetery was clean and well cared for.

It looks like a cool place from the outside...But its open from 8:00-3:30 not 24 hours like the schedule says.
