My best friend and I just came back from out vacation in Davis and it was wonderful! The cabin was gorgeous and the view was unbeatable. We did have a small mishap with our keys not working in the lock, but it was fixed within 10 minutes. Becky and the rest of the staff are all very kind and give wonderful customer service. I will definitely be coming back!

If you’re looking for a rental or to purchase around Canaan Valley Mountaintop is the absolute best to work with. We purchased our vacation home from them and they also manage the rental portion for us. As many positive reviews we get for our house we also get as many stating how wonderful the staff at Mountaintop is and how accommodating. These folks know what they’re doing and how to make our guests welcome in our rental.

The house we had such a long driveway and we did not know the pictures never showed it. The driveway was washed out and maintenance came to fix it. When we ran out of wood it was delivered immediately. I thought the chimney needed cleaning based on the amount of smoke that was in the house when the fireplace was used. We stayed one week and it was peaceful quiet. We liked the animals we saw. My mom was sick and had just got out of the hospital. We did not get travel insurance and so they tried to completely stick it to us when we asked for a refund.

If you are reading positive reviews you can rest assured they were written by employees or friends of the owner, definitely not by anyone that has ever stayed at one of these cabins. RENTER BEWARE!!!!!!! That can not be stated enough. Half of the things listed that are suppose to be included with the cabin are straight out lies. Ours was listed to have a hot tube and internet, both of which were not included.. well i mean there was a hot tub on the porch but it was empty and broken. The internet was just non-existent for the 4 days we were there. When mentioned to the people on the phone she at first acted surprised as to why the hot tub would be empty and then later informed us that they were aware that it was broke and were just waiting on replacement parts but that did not justify any reduction on rental prices. Of course why would you not mention that fact prior to us renting the cabin? In fact they acted like they couldn't care less. Like everyone else I wish this rating system went down to 0 stars, cause that's what they deserve. We didn't get firewood till the second night and had to shovel all of our own walkways just to get into the cabin. I won't even get into the fact we had to kill mice with a shovel and throw them outside, yes mice... as in plural. Never again.

Hot tub was empty & frozen, no firewood first night. When you rent a house, you’d expect it to be nicer than your own home! I almost forgot to mention the WiFi was out so we missed the ufc fight we had hoped to watch on New Year’s Eve. We basically paid a grand to stay in an older home in the middle of Nowhere. DO NOT RENT FROM MOUNTAIN TOP REALTY!!!!
