Germany Valley Overlook Cabins

I lived in the area 47 years ago and took family back to see where I grew up. Simply couldn't have been more perfect. Interesting how we often don't realize and appreciate it till we leave and then come back. Spent 3 nights in cabin #1 with my wife, children and grandchildren. Cabins are beautiful and well kept, owners are friendly and helpful and maintain them well (they built them thereselves). Views are breathtaking. I'd recommend them to anyone but you must share, leave a few days open for me to go back. Check out there website choose the cabin that suits you needs (all are great) and make sure you have AT&T service. If you buy a TracFone make sure to get it with the correct service (I asked for AT&T and didn't verify ...i was sold Verizon. Worst for that area). You will get spotted service with Sprint. We only needed it because we traveled separate days.

Fantastic sunsets! Beautiful view peaceful and serene. Lookout cottage was beyond our expectations. We had the most wonderful vacation. Can't wait to go back. Everything was perfect. Lucy Raines was just great. My wife and I felt like we had known her all our lives . The fall leaves were beautiful. Our stay was Oct. 1st to Oct 6th. Highly recommend this wonderful vacation spot.

Beautiful location with picturesque views! Cabins are quaint and secluded. Always a good time for a place to get away

A most stay at! We stayed in the overlook for 5 days the best Vacation we had in years. No phone we had to talk and eat together wow awesome time will do it again

Spent the weekend there with my family and had a wonderful time. I'm visiting from AZ &. family lives in Pa. I loved how remote & peaceful this is and the cabin was very large & comfortable for us. Would love to come back again sometime and enjoy the fall weather in the peace & quiet of nature.
