Mountaintop Condos

Very clean condo. Has everything you need. Within walking distance to shops and restaurants. The only downside for us is it was rather warm and this does not have air conditioning. The living area and 1 bedroom were fine but the other 2 bedrooms do not have a window to the outside so it made it hard to sleep. Other than that...we had a great time! I should also mention the awesome indoor play area for small children!

Mountain Lodge is a great place to stay at Snowshoe. I've made about eight different trips to snowshoe, each lasting 2 nights, this year alone and Mountain Lodge is the most convenient place that I have stayed at. The parking attendant is nice and will usually let you park in the lot a few hours early if you need to. The front desk employees are all super helpful and I typically get checked in with zero hassle in no time at all. As for the location, you can't beat it. Literally steps from the slopes. My one qualm about staying at Mountain Lodge is that they try to push this travel insurance on you that claims to cover trip cancellation and lack of snow conditions. I stupidly purchased this coverage for one trip and was sent the policy details (of which I could not find online beforehand, surprise). Basically the only way you're getting your money back is if someone in your party dies or becomes ill to the point of hospitalization - and you're able to document that. The lack of snow coverage is also BS - they only cover a small amount for something like "transportation to a nearby ski area with better conditions"....like where? So anyways - DON'T BUY THE TRIP INSURANCE, no matter how many times they email you saying "It's not too late to buy the trip insurance". Overall though staying at Mountain Lodge is a great idea - highly recommend.

The condo was very clean and cozy! All furniture and facilities are in good shape. Location is unbeatable. We enjoyed the ski in and out convenience so much! I'm glad we booked through this website with very reasonable price. Will definitely book here again!

We stayed two nights on a busy March weekend. Mountaintop Condos was easy to work with. They have quite a few condos to choose from, but this was the only one available on a very busy weekend for Snowshoe. Mountain Lodge is convenient to the slopes, but be prepared to carry your skis to and from your room. We had no problems checking in or out, and rates were better than anything available through the resort for this particular weekend. The condo was nicely furnished, with a well equipped kitchen. Overall it was clean, but it could probably use a thorough deep clean to get some of the hard to reach areas that housekeeping hasn't had time to tend to through a busy ski season.

Mountain lodge is a favorite of ours. It is an older building, but you can not get better convenience to the slopes!. Our condo had a view of the top of Ball Hooter lift and also downhill to the lake.. Nicely furnished. Could use a few more serving pieces in the kitchen, but most of the basics there. Right beside Split Rocks Pool and 1-2 min walk to village. Both the photos here are views from the condo windows.
