Mozingo Music - O'Fallon

This experience was greatly disappointing. My husband thought he had purchased a great Christmas gift for me - mandolin lessons. It turns out that when I tried to schedule a lesson, the instructor was hard to even get in contact with. I had to send multiple e-mails and make several phone calls to get in touch with someone who could help me. When we finally did make contact, the instructor was non-committal and claimed that he couldn't actually schedule anything for the "next several weeks," which turned into a month. As a result, my husband and I tried to return our gift certificate. We were turned down the first time we attempted to do so in the store, apparently since Sean was the only one who could make the return happen, and he didn't happen to be working that day. We ended up calling Sean later to see when he was working so that we could come in at that time. He let us know that it was fine for us to come in to make the return at any point; he did not physically need to be there. As a result, we went back a few weeks later to return the gift certificate once and for all. While the employees were friendly, they began to stonewall us all over again and claim they had no ability to make the return. I had to explain that we had already been down this path before, and we could not keep returning to the store every Saturday afternoon to see if Sean was working. They got in touch with a different manager who finally approved the return. The whole experience left us feeling pretty poorly - me because I had been hoping to have lessons, and my husband because he was disappointed that his Christmas gift did not work out. It appears that the management of this organization is lacking. I recommend you avoid taking lessons here!

Really enjoyed seeing the instruments and talking to the employees. One of them really helped me find the guitar I wanted and told me about the lessons they offer. He was a great help. 😊

I would highly recommend Mozingo Music in O’Fallon, MO. Great people to work with, very courteous and helpful. As a business owner I can appreciate the efforts they go through to make sure the services and products they offer are top of the line and the premises are well kept, not to mention the outstanding customer service from both Don and Steve. Definitely they have gone above and beyond to earn my business. Two thumbs up.

Would rather give them no stars. The staff tells you one thing but then it changes. The communication is very lacking. Rental program is a joke.

Rent to own here was cheaper than rental from the other music store up the street. They also had choices of instruments from almost new to some wear tear that didn't affect sound quality to best fit our budget. Helpful and friendly service replacing broken string also.
