MTA - 1st Ave Subway Station

Disgusting station. Homeless people have taken over. They built encampment and sometimes there's very little space to get around them. Station smells bad because of them. They have their shopping carts, sofa and even beds on the platform.

The station does not have a token booth clerk however it does have an elevator and benches to sit on.

Average cleanliness for a NYC subway station. Plenty of litter on the ground, but otherwise well lit and pleasant

Great location select buses to various parts of the city on the same block

Busy place, lot of important office around. Lot of transportation, bus stand, subway, and busy working people going or coming.1 ave and station is famous because everybody know and call it no:1. It's hard to find any help or road, street direction from anybody because most of the people here are from outside.

I saw a bald British guy in a mask run through here the other night. Before anyone could stop him he had swooped onto the tracks and upgraded the signaling infrastructure. Someone called the governor and he was gone in a flash of his cape. We don't deserve you Andy. Thank you for your service

With the addition of the elevators on the east end of the 2 platforms and stairs completing them there is a marked improvement at this station.

The best station in town!! You should try it if you’re visiting!! New York doesn’t deserve this beauty. Love it, will be back!
