I take a seniors piano class here, but there is so much more here! There is an art gallery. There are senior services. There are classes through Portland Parks & Recreation for all ages! This was an elementary school as it's first use. It is so adaptable and used for meetings.
Great place! My daughter loves it, she has been taking Piano and Theater classes here for years, there is a free art gallery and more, check them out and support Portland Parks and Recreation!
I didn't really get to see the full space, but what I did see was amazing!
Great place, many classes with diverse interests.
Just had my daughter's baby shower there. We had it in the gym very good size for a party.
What an incredible place to be able to explore arts and learn new skills! I just got done with my first adult tap class here and it was not only enriching with a supportive instructor but also fun! You can register for classes on Portland parks and rec and there are all age and skill level classes available. I highly recommend checking it out for affordable community development and personal growth.
I visited today for the first time to ask some questions about the enrollment for my kid who has special needs. So thankful for the warm & friendly welcome and all the useful information. It wasthe best!!
There is a pre-registration period for under-served communities...Great! I think that's amazing. But, that basically guarantees the waiting list is 5 people deep before registration even begins. The whole community is under-served. They clearly need more funding.
Great place for community events, venue for patries, dancing, & craft classes.
I have tried to register for classes for two seasons and have felt discouraged by staff who I talk on the phone with. So much so that I will just stop trying to attend MAC. I m disappointed by the enrollment availability, staff support, and knowledge of their own website.
