My sedan exceeded expectations. I was concerned after reading the reviews for this car service that was included in the NYC vacation we booked through Costco Travel. But we ended up being impressed! The cars were new and clean, all contacts with company very professional and I was sent driver info and contact prior to arrival.
Warning - DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE - they do not even deserve 1 star We booked this service via Costco travel for our weekend in NYC. When we arrived to Newark airport we waited for an hour at the airport and our car still did not arrive. The driver apparently went to get a car wash instead. My wife and I had plans so we had to book our own Uber to get to our hotel downtown. On our departure trip to the airport we called 5+ times to confirm our transfer with the company. Multiple times they lost my reservation and were very unhelpful. Eventually we sorted everything out and they assured me the driver would arrive to our hotel at 6 PM. The driver did not show up at 6 PM so we called the company, they transferred us to dispatch and they said the driver was 3 minutes away. 15 minutes later the driver had still not arrived, so I called again. This time I found out they had cancelled our driver and asked us if we could wait another 45 minutes for a new driver. My wife and I had to quickly scramble and book an Uber as our flight was extremely soon and any further delays would mean we would miss the flight. We bought our transfers with this company for the sole intent of relieving stress and knowing we had our travel pre arranged. Needless to say none of that happened, this company caused so much stress during our trip. This company should honestly no longer be in business. I’m extremely surprised Costco travel arranges transportation with this company.
Drivers are rude and unprofessional. We booked through costco travel. We called to confirm 24 hours before our trip. They were supposed to send us a text or call us to let us know where they would be once they got to the airport. After waiting patiently for a text we decided to call dispatch and we were transferred to this driver. He was extremely rude and wouldn’t give us much direction as to where to go to meet him. I asked for his number in case I needed to call again he was supposed to have called me anyways and he sarcastically said “well you called me right? So you have my number”. I said no I was transferred to you so he finally gave me his number. I had to ask around at the airport to finally find where he was because he would give us NO direction.
PLEASE READ!!! DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!!! We booked via Costco. The employee that met us at the airport was rude, but the driver that picked us up and took us to our hotel was friendly. We used this service a second time to get to the airport. We pre-booked our pickup at 5:30 PM but the driver did not arrive until 5:50 PM. We confirmed with him the day before but we still had to call him three times the day of to ask if he was coming. The calls went straight to voicemail so we had to contact customer service to reach him. They were not able to reach him either. We ended up having to just sit and wait for 20 minutes and hope that he would eventually arrive. He should have told us in advance if he was going to be late. He never apologized for being late and did not even greet us. Once we arrived at the airport, we realized that we left our AirPods case in his car. We immediately called customer service and explained our problem. They put us on hold for almost half an hour and finally told us that they would call us back in 10 minutes. We did not receive any calls that night, and woke up to a voicemail the next day. They said they could not find it, but we are certain that we left the case in his car. This company is extremely unprofessional and rude. I have read many other reviews mentioning their tardiness and terrible customer service. There are even other clients that have also had their belongings "lost" when in reality, they are stolen. I will not be using this service again, and I strongly recommend against it. A complete waste of my time and money, spend your hard-earned money elsewhere. You are better off using Uber or Lyft.
Absolutely horrendous. Completely unreliable and over-priced. Both drivers we eventually dealt with were great, but the customer service on the phone lines on both occasions was non-existent and couldnt care less about their cutomers. We were left stranded on arrival for over three hours and they then arrived 30 minutes late on departure, even after me calling the day before to confirm them as I didn't trust them to get us back to the airport, and they pretend to take a contact number but dont use it. They also ask you publicly to contact them directly to rectify issues but dont get back to you. DO NOT USE!
Our driver Kris was phenomenal! He told us all the tips and tricks to save us a few dollars awesome when traveling with 5. Gave us all the places to go see and best times to see them. He is in the right business with that kind of hospitality. Kris #305
After booking ahead, our flight landed on time. We had to wait an extra 20 minutes for car and received no information. Also, we we’re supposed to be in a luxury sedan and were picked up in a Jeep Cherokee.
Excellent experience with My Sedan for both arrival and departure transfer. Both drivers were friendly, prompt, and cars were clean.
I was very nervous about My Sedan Car Service based on the Google reviews but had to book with them as I purchased my hotel through Costco and this is the car service they contract with. I have no complaints at all. The driver communicated with me via text and phone call as soon as I landed at Newark Airport and was right outside baggage claim to pick up our party of four adults. For our return ride back to the airport, My Sedan called the morning before my ride to confirm service for the following day and the driver text me upon his arrival to our hotel and was 7 minutes early. I would definitely recommend My Sedan car service and hope this review will boost their Google rating.
I am a nervous traveler and don’t have much experience booking with travel agencies and car transportation services, so I was anxious to use My Sedan through my Costco Travel trip. However, my experience with them was very seamless. I had a text and phone message from my driver has soon as we landed and there was a representative at baggage claim to direct us to our driver who was ready to pick us up in less than 5 minutes once we claimed our luggage. The driver was also there to pick us up from our hotel 20 minutes before the scheduled time to drive us to the airport. Great punctuality! The only downside was our pick up time for our 6 AM flight out of LGA was 2 AM and the terminal was closed so we had to wait outside for the terminal to open. So when booking your flights keep that in mind, that they pick you up about 4 hours before to make sure that you don’t miss your flight. Our driver offered us bottled waters before he left, so that was also much appreciated.
