Naara Cafe and Hookah

Wonderful place to relax. After a few years I have made my way back down to San Antonio. I've been to hookah bar from here to Tulsa Oklahoma and none come close to Naara. I think this place is the what others should try to achieve. The addition of traditional music made it even better. Good job in pushing to make great even better.

Service, hookah and food are all so good. Staff is super friendly and will suggest anything you need to make sure you have a great experience. If you aren’t happy they will gladly swap the flavor out for you at no charge. Hookah lasts hours without getting harsh. I was pleasantly surprised and ended up staying longer than I intended. Gyro pizza is cheesy amazing goodness and the tzatziki with it makes the whole pizza even better. The plates are really good too. You won’t be disappointed with their menu. Will definitely be returning for both hookah and food. Great environment. Could come here to chill or even get some work done.

The hookah is very affordable! I love coming for their happy hour, which is like $13 for a signature hookah flavor bowl. My biggest complaint is their service. Can't tell if they're understaffed or if it's just hard for them to monitor their customers, but we always have a difficult time finding the waitress and it takes them a long time to return with what you asked for (average 15-20 to get your bill alone after asking for it). I ordered a plate, waited for maybe 20 minutes before asking about waitress to ensure the order got put in, waited another 20 or more, asked the waitress again to see that it still wasn't even worked. I ended up just cancelling it :(

Been here dozens of times over the past few years and after trying multiple other hookah spots in town i can say without a doubt that this is the best hookah lounge in town. Cheap hookah selection with great quality and service. Come in hungry because they have a wide assortment of delicious Mediterranean and Arabic dishes mixed in with American elements that really give this place a unique feel. Friendly and inviting staff tie the whole experience together. A must visit when you come off a stressful day at work!

Great selection of foods foods for vegetarians and meat eaters. Great service and their double apple hookah with mint is sublime. You can dine in their enclosed outdoors and they are cigar friendly! This is now my favorite place to come because I can share a hookah with my wife and also comfortably smoke a nice cigar. It is also the first place we've had rose tea that was hot and delicious but a little extra on the rosewater makes it very rosy. Hookahs are discounted from 11 am to 5 pm so they do have special discount pricing or happy hour. They have corner lounges for people who want to lounge in the traditional style as well as cafe chairs for those wanting a more restaurant style table type of setting. Closer to the doors to the inside, the chairs are wooden with seat cushions and along the perimeter the chairs are springy metal outdoor chairs. Highly recommended.
