I have been playing the fiddle since I was 5yrs old. I'm 46 now and, although I was named Arizona State Champion Fiddler 2yrs in a row (1991 & 1992), and was also AZ State Champion for my age group several other times, the first when I was 12yrs of age & was Junior AZ State Champ, and have also had a great career performing all over the U.S. with several different bands & artists, the last one being a very famous Country Music star, I have never made the pilgrimage to the "Mecca" of "Old Time Fiddling". Apparently, there are even several 8x10 pictures of me with a small bio/notation for each time I was honored as AZ State Champ (Quite a few people have seen them & told me about it. So, one day while I still have a couple of marbles rolling around upstairs & can still move about under my own power, I NEED to head up there & experience for my self.

Nothing for kids to do. Hardly any rides to go on. Not enough booths for people to look at. Each year it's been going down hill.
