A bit expensive to stay in the apartments for what we got. There were two ACs in the 2 bedroom apartment. One was in the one bedroom and other in the living room. This means the other bedroom was very hot and the windows were hard to open.

A very nice recreational area, open only to those with base access.
They have a nice outdoor swimming complex with I believe two pools. One is a deeper pool and has a slide, the other is a kids pool that begins at a depth of 1.5 feet on each end and gradually drops to 4 feet deep in the center.
There is also a nice beach area next to the pool.
There are several areas that have playgrounds.
They offer lodging including primitive tent sites, yurts, cabins, RV sites, apartments, and cottages.
They have a marina and boat rentals. The Adventure Zone rents equipment including sports gear, bicycles and helmets, and clubs for mini golf, as well as a place to hang out and relax. Inside the Adventure Zone is an arcade, an arts and crafts corner, some very comfy couches, and they usually have a movie playing. They also sell firewood.
We took the kids out for a trial camping trip there and they had an amazing time. There was plenty to do and you receive some of their leisure passes when you reserve lodging with them for the duration of your stay. The passes get you things like unlimited pool access, mini golf, etc. There are some limitations (no free boat rentals, sadly).

If you go strictly on value, this place is a 5-star. The cost to go here is super low (granted, you need to be military or know somebody that is), but it is really rough around the edges. It needs a lot of maintenance. But, when splitting costs with other families to stay in the apartments there, it came out to only $50 per night for our family of 4. This included access to the swimming facility, which has 3 big pools. One pool goes from 1.5 to 4 feet deep. The next pool I believe was 4 to 6 feet deep and had a nice slide with plenty of turns. The third pool goes from 7 to 12 feet deep and has a diving board as well as a smaller, twisting slide. There are also a lot of other recreational activities here to enjoy (which we didn't try). So pretty nice in terms of what they offer. Just know that you'll need to watch out for rusty edges and and some facilities may be more worn out or less maintained. Like the volleyball pit that was completely overgrown. Sand was visible under the knee high weeds with ticks waiting for someone to pass by.
The apartments were all fully stocked (pots, pans, plates, utensils, soaps, etc.) and clean which was nice. There was even bedding materials for the hide-a-bed couch which not even some hotels leave in their rooms. We didn't feel grossed out by the place at all. The (one) bathroom for our 4-bedroom apartment that we shared, had a bathtub drain that wouldn't stay open unless you propped it open. The lock on the door was a slide lock that required you open the door enough to slide the bar into while also leaving a crack that allowed people to see into the bathroom. So a little lacking in privacy.
There is more, but I will leave it at that. All in all it is a great value, and you will enjoy yourself if you go here with friends and/or family. Just keep an eye out for for those rough spots.

Loved camping in the Yurt! They are located next to bathroom and laundry.

We stayed in area F in our fifth wheel. Area F has full hook up but only 30 amp service so one A.C. could barely keep the RV cool with temps close to 100. If you need 50 amp power, there are only 2 areas that have it and most of those sites are in the grass but have good shade. Wifi is good. Bath house is clean but no A.C.
