Great location for a family getaway.  Activities for everyone!!

Do not  go if there is a chance of rain.  The rv are in a muddy field.  Reservation are a mess.  They have a lot of open spaces but not if you go thru met web site

Big park! Has a gym, a fishing pier, small beach. This location is on a rec site so NX, commissary and fuel are separate but not far.

We used to full time here and enjoyed it. Everything north of Fox Ave is packed like sardines. We preferred the more private area at the south end of Overlook Road. Occasionally, there were family reunions staying in tents making noise but for the most part people were respectful of the area. It's very windy here especially in the winter time. The bridge traffic back and forth to the Base is very heavy and that's why we left.
