NC Board of Nursing

I spoke with Cathy Collins and she was very rude!!! She told me to get to the point and rushed me off the phone. This is all after i paid over $200 to get my N.J. license switched over to a N.C. license. She began to tell me they will look at applications that are dated from the 14th of May tomorrow, wow 😯. Today is the 17th of May. They need some help, very unprofessional, im so disappointed 😔.

I’m doing my cna and they made a stupid rule of you can ONLY miss 12 hours! Now my dad is sick and is dying and they will not excuse me to go see him while he is about to pass away! They are making me choose between my family or my career! And I’m about to pick a different career because I do not want to be working with people who can’t help or support me at all !!! NO WONDER WE HAVE A NATION STORAGE ON NURSING !!! You need to change your rules and listen ! If you have a nation short on nurse then it has to be you doing something wrong the fact that we as nurses and cna want to help people and take care of people and help society and you treat us like garbage is crazy! We want to help people and you are making it so hard for us to !

They don't return phone calls!! I have a request in January and left 3 messages for 2 people and NO ONE has responded! Pitiful!!

I am a resident of NY and applied for a NC license following the online application process. I had no issues receiving my RN license to practice in NC. I called to make sure they received my completed application & background information and I had my temporary and permanent license in a timely manner. No complaints with my process.
