I like taking the family out here. it is a little bit of a jaunt, but nice to be away from the city. there are plenty of hiking trails. The visitors center has some cool features. Since there is only one road in the bison preserve, it is hit or miss if you will actually see any. I have been out here and not seen the bison just as many times as I have.

A great place to spend a couple hours! Lots of things for kids to explore, interactive displays, theater in the visitor center/museum. There are several ways to view the bison and elk and a covered shelter available for lunch.

Great place with a lot of nature activities. I love the walking trails and the chance to see bison. There are paths that are also paved so they are easy to walk. Thus is a great place to spend a Saturday outside.
