This school gave me an experience that no other school has. I was able to get ahead in college as a senior, make friends that I couldn't have found without going here because of the social aspect. I made friends all over Vegas and was able to use network to find which classes with which professors suit me. Academics aside, this put me ahead with skills that you could only find at a dual-enrollment program, but were made aware of only at Nevada State High. My time at this school will definitely stay with me and I have even recommended it to my family and friends. As a senior, the college admittance process was a lot easier due to certain skills practiced and obtained here at Nevada State High. 10/10 recommend!
Nevada State High School is a great place for students to get a real college experience while still being high school students. In this program, I was able to receive college credit and I am currently on track to receive an Associate of Business by the time I graduate senior year in high school. This program is saving me tons of time and money as it will also allow me to acquire my Bachelors Degree in a shorter span of time. Overall, I highly recommend Nevada State High School and all the opportunities for a higher education it provides!
Nevada State High School has given me and countless other students the opportunity to get ahead in our education and take college courses for free. As a former AP student, the freedom and flexibility this school provides as well as the money it saves me is amazing. The majority of complaints about Nevada State result because people do not keep up with the deadlines, paperwork, or the outgoing information. The staff here is incredibly supportive, willing to listen, and will work with you personally to give you a great college experience. I have never had any regrets about my decision to move to Nevada State.
The staff here is amazing and genuinely care about the students who attend at NSHS. Nevada State High School is a beneficial program that provides college and career ready skills for high school students in fields of personal, social and academic pillars. The help ticket system is useful and answers any questions that students may have. Highly recommend attending to Nevada State High School if you care about your success and future as a college student.
The staff at Nevada State High School is amazing. The staff always helps with any questions or concerns that students may have. They provide a safe environment that gets students prepared for college. I highly recommend this school to all students that are focused on their education.
Nevada State High School has been the best high school experience for my family! I have had two students go through the program and earn their Associates Degree. They also said the program helped them navigate college life when they went away to college. NSHS has taught them valuable skills to help them in college and the work place.
I attended Nevada State High School all junior and senior year and this program did so much for me! This is a perfect transition from high school to college and students are given so many opportunities! I had loving teachers, like Mrs. Williams who truly cared about my success and wanted the best for me. Everyone at NSHS works extremely hard to get all students the most out of their experience and help them get as far in their college career as possible. I am so grateful for this program and everyone who made my last two years of high school so memorable.
We love the opportunity and growth provided to our children by Nevada State High School. Our oldest daughter attended her junior and senior year of high school and graduated with her high school diploma and her associates degree in 2018. Currently we have a junior attending and next year our other son will also be attending Nevada State High School. As parents of 7 children we are grateful that our children have a head start on their post high school education with minimal out of pocket expense!
It may be a little challenging at first, but once you get the hang of it it's an amazing experience. The staff are very friendly and only want to see you succeed. I would definitely recommend attending Nevada State High School.
As a student currently enrolled in NSHS, I highly recommend it. They teach their students to become self reliant, while enrolling them in college classes for free. It's definitely a step up from regular high school, but it's not as hard as AP high school courses. Plus you have more freedom to set yourself up for success, like picking your professor, choosing your schedule, and picking your classes other than the prerequisites. I went from a kid who didn't care much about school because I didn't like it, having a 2.7 GPA. To someone who actually enjoys school, having straight A's with the occasional B.
