New England Institute of Technology

Good school, however the redhead at the front desk of the dorms has THE MOST disgusting aura. Horrible woman. Singles students out, condisending and extremely disrespectful. Flirts and smokes cigarettes by the door with students half her age, extremely unprofessional. During the only encounter that I was unlucky enough to have with her, every word out of her mouth carried an unpleasant tone that was honestly jarring... school cafeteria has great mozzarella sticks!!!

Good school. Some wasteful spending and inflated tuitions. I enrolled under the G.I. Bill being told that it would cover my tuition. I applied for every grant available along with it to be safe. Still paid $5k out of pocket. Never understood why they had to replace the hallway signs with TV monitors. I've only ever seen them display the same information the signs did. Professors are great, though. All very intelligent and most still are working in their field. Very clean and modern equipment in all of the classes. The East Greenwich campus is very well kept up and dorms are around the corner. Parking is never an issue at any of their locations. Transportation services between Warwick and E. Greenwich are readily available, too.

I started going to New England Institute of Technology in 2014 for an AS in electronics and continued on to a BS in electrical engineering technology. Some of the things I like about NEIT is that they have small class sizes and that lets the instructors to have more time with each student. I also like that there is a small number of instructors in my technology. This allow the instructors and the students to get to know each other. It was nice to have some of the same instructors taught in both degrees.
