New Hampshire Institute of Art - Sharon Arts Center Campus Gallery

Great art college with a lot of offerings for community classes and workshops. They have several art exhibitions a year worth seeing.

New galleries display the work of local artists and regularly host openings. The shop is well appointed with interesting items for sale. The art is outside my means, but worth a look if you are in the market.

This is a great place to find a wide range of handmade items in both price and level of craftsmanship, and even the most simple work is well executed. The venue is large and holds a sizable selection.

The gallery has a large display area. However the artwork that was displayed was dwarfed by the size of the room. For this installation it would have been better to break up the room with display panels (see photos). The gift area has several nice items.

This is why I don't like these ratings...I want to make a point so am giving it one star even though that is not entirely accurate. Re: the retail space, great asset to the community and beautiful offerings. However, the one star is for the "snob" associates that were rude and sad. If you are not a people person than you should find another business. Old ladies that think they are high society but are really living pathetic lives that lead them to take out their misery on shoppers.
