New Mexico River Adventures

Booked a half day Racecourse trip for 5-14-18. Jenny helped me over the phone and was very professional and addressed my concerns professionally and honestly. My wife and I aren't young anymore so I had concerns and Jenny, in her experienced manner, gave me a picture of what this trip entails and everything went pretty much as she said. And boy was this fun! It exceeded my expectations and we will never forget this experience. It was thrilling and invigorating. Kind of like a roller coaster on water. It is a 2 and a half hour trip that covered five miles. Two thirds of were pretty calm water and the rest was a blast. In closing, our guide, Jacob, and his right hand man Will, were exceptional. Real kudos to Jacob, though. He is a pro. He is exceptional as someone who can handle a raft, but his knowledge of the area's geology, history and ability to make you part of the team it takes to maneuver the river made this a perfect morning. What a great afternoon!!! The four of us were guided through the “Racecourse” by Mark and Zak. Both guy were knowledgeable and outright entertaining! Mark was in our boat and he was the perfect combo of fun and skilled! These guys totally made the trip a blast. We will come again and hope for even more water next time as we are now “experienced” whitewater rafters! ;)

The experience was amazing, low water level and gloomy weather didn’t stop Tanner and Jake from letting us enjoy the river. They made us feel safe and guided us very well. The tour was informative too as they share facts that made the trip more interesting! We’ll definitely come back!

Awesome place! Super accommodating, too! The guides are so funny and constantly give your opportunities for fun! Swam in the Rio Grande a few times and even got to play the role of the guide for a bit! So worth it! Also, our guide was Garrett.

A great experience for the both of us! It was a pleasure to have our river guide (Coach) and his two junior river guides help create a memorable experience. The only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is because of the river conditions at that time but the staff and the company definitely do!!!
