I called a few days ago looking for water fountain parts. Although they didn't have it, Todd, the manager, offered to order it for us and would have them in within a few days. 2 days later the parts arrived and we were able to finish our project. Todd is very friendly, and easy to talk to. He did a good job even with 3 different sets of customers in the store. The location is being expanded and remodeled, and it will be really nice when it is done! I will add an update and pictures after it is completed.

My wife was working on a film set in Chama and her un-airconditioned cabin was hot at night. She was unable to leave work during business hours because film crews work very long days and so she couldn't get into to town to buy a fan. I called Amy at River Lumber to see if they had any fans and were willing to deliver. Unfortunately, they were out of fans but Amy put me in touch with a local person named Sue who was willing to look around town for a fan and then to deliver to it to my wife! They did all this for a total stranger over the phone no less! Can you believe that?? Long story short, my wife got her fan and was incredibly grateful. Having never even been to Chama or River Lumber, I can safely say there are a lot of caring people there. If you are ever need of lumber or building supplies near Chama, New Mexico, stop here first!!!!!! If they are willing to help someone over the phone, who lives 800 miles away, imagine how helpful they'll be in person! Thank you Amy, Sue, and River Lumber! I am one satisfied customer!!!
