New Number 1 Chinese Restaurant

Cashiers may not speak English very well but I don't speak a word of Chinese so they've got me beat! Pretty consistent, decent Chinese food. The hot and sour soup was great, beef and broccoli very good.

Good food that's ready fast, and they were even open in the middle of a snowstorm.

Great food, decent service. They'll forget a complementary box of white rice every now and then but I haven't had many problems beyond that. I probably get food from here four or five times a month, and have been eating here for 14-15 years.

This place has gone downhill...and the hill was more like a cliff! I've lived close to No. 1 Chinese for 19 years and for 19 years when it was "Chinese Food Night" this is the place I went. The food was pretty darn good! Since most of my kids have moved out, I don't frequent the place as much (in past year, I'd go about once a month),. Today, I thought some Chinese food would be a nice change...I probably hadn't been to No. 1 in 8 or 9 months. It was awful. My sweet n sour shrimp, the breading on the outside was raw next to the actual shrimp (which I didn't inspect too closely). The General Tso's Chicken was so hard on the outside...like it must have been cold and they microwaved it. Plus, it wasn't even Gen. Tso's Chicken...zero spiciness. No. 1, you had a pretty loyal customer for a long time, but NO MORE.
