New Taj Mahal

I’ve eaten here plenty of times. I’m not sure what happened, but, they couldn’t have failed more. Chickpeas were like rocks, food took 1 hour 40 minutes, but, at least they offered me 50% off my next order of rocked up chickpeas. Food was not edible. Naan was rubbery. Customer service was weak. Food time was terrible. The other dish was pretty decent. Hence the two stars.

Caveat: this is a review for a mid-week lunch buffet. The buffet featured enough items with enough variety to satisfy vegetarians and omnivores alike, though I'm not sure if vegans would have such a wonderful time here. The food felt mostly fresh, although some dishes had noticeable aging. Of course, that's to be expected with any buffet. In defense of the food, they mostly aged well as many of the dishes were drowned in various (tasty) sauces. They also managed to keep the food mostly filled even when getting closer to the end of the buffet time. Especially naan. Can't beat fresh naan. The price was good, and ask for the student discount. My only gripe is that the place is a bit crowded and can feel a bit cloistered. Even off-peak we felt kind of squeezed in.

The buffet is a great value and has all the tasty staples. Relaxed atmosphere in a convenient location

Love this place. They have a buffet style layout. There is a discount if you go to osu. It is very close to campus. Right before you hit Hudson where the rallys is. Affordable. Only thing I dont like is often the saag paneer is not out with the buffet food so then there is a separate price for it.
