They never answer the phone or call anyone back. This place runs more like a scumbag business than it does a school. I do not recommend receiving an education here. I've been trying to get in touch with a rep for 3 weeks and I still have not heard back from anybody

This review is for the clinic ithin the college. I had a coupon for free acupuncture and massage treatments. The acupuncture treatment was phenomenal, I would Def go back for that. The two women spoke w me for aumpunturebout 20 minutes before the treatment, which included the needles, cupping (like Michael Phelps style) and facial release. My back felt so much better afterward. The massage was jot that great, i didnt feel kore relaxed or less pain or anything. Maybe I just didn't have a good massage therapist. Future treatments would be $30 acumpuncture, $35 massage

so although I attended for a short period of time, here's the pros and cons from my experience:
Pros: small interactive classes, flexible schedules to take classes, classes are good, I really enjoyed learning there and of course, it's amazing that there's a college that offers these classes, as well as the programs that they have. The teachers that care are very kind, extremely helpful and all-around great teachers. You can learn a lot here which definitely comes in handy. (I looooove learning Traditional Chinese Medicine and medicinal modalities)
Cons: high staff turnover rate in the office section, therefore poor communication amongst staff. I'm being billed for a semester that I didn't attend and now have to straighten it out with debt collectors. I had colleagues that encountered the same problem, students come and go very, very quickly (5 or 6 students dropping out in less than 1 trimester, just in the classes I took, alone) due to the unprofessionalism of some teachers and staff, a teacher I had in one class didn't show up, didn't let us know but had apparently let the school know - the school completely overlooked that so after we were in the classroom waiting for about 20 minutes in, we asked someone and they said they couldn't find a substitute teacher on time, so off we went back home - at least that wasn't my only class that day, especially since I live over an hour away...unlike some other students who for them was a total waste of time. Some teachers would be quite open to the students about the drama that goes on between them (unprofessional - students are there to learn, not to hear the latest gossip about other teachers), another teacher was known for being extremely mean and rude, making a girl cry in class because he called her names regarding her appearance (I had that teacher for a short amount of time and he talked about cheating on his wife if he got the chance [what?!] ) and other inappropriate things. At the office, bursar, etc., due to the high turnover rate, files on students get lost, therefore causing big issues (like the one I'm encountering now)
Overall, I love the idea, I love that there's a college out there who offers the classes, the programs that NY College of Health Professions does, however, the unprofessionalism, disorganization and high staff (and student) turnover rate is the issue and unfortunately, not a small one.
Maybe it's because it's a private college? I've never heard of any other college achieving this level of overall unprofessionalism.
Due to this, I'm giving the college 2 stars - the idea is great and the outcome if manage to stick it through the whole way is great as well, I'm sure, but the chances of that happening from the small amount of time I was there seemed to be alarmingly slim and there's just way too many bumps and obstacles caused by the college itself to make the journey there even remotely as smooth as it's supposed to.
