New York Hearing Doctors

Dr. Ken D'Auria is a professional and caring doctor who helped me to choose which hearing aid options were best for me. He was supportive and informative through the entire process. He truly cares about his patients and I would never hesitate to recommend the entire staff at NYHD to anyone.

I loved everything about my visit yesterday. The front desk was very welcoming and after my paperwork, they took me in right away. I met with Dr. Kasper's assistant who was so gentle, sweet and detailed with all of her questions. It was such a pleasure to meet Dr. Kasper. He wanted to make sure that I was always comfortable, safe and he was just terrific. He has a warm, wonderful and welcoming personality. He is obviously very knowledgeable and was very honest with me during my visit. I felt like I was definitely in good hands.

Dr. D'Auria was excellent. He walked me through everything and made my appointment a 10/10 experience.

Amazing knowledgeable and friendly staff. They made sure I understood everything all the time. I felt that I was in great hands. They also have amazing equipment for their tests.

This was one of the most pleasant experiences I have had going to the doctor. I barely had to wait, there was very little paperwork to fill out, and the doctor was incredibly nice. I would highly recommend this center to anyone who is looking for an audiologist. They do great work and seem to genuinely care about their patients.

Doctor and staff were very nice. Aside from a hearing test , not very helpful in helping me deal with my Tinnitus. Maybe I'm looking for a miracle answer but I feel the doctor could at least put me with someone who could help me cope better, just told me I had to wait 6 months and see if it's still there. Maybe in 6 months I can post a better review.

My experience with Dr. Kaspar and NY Hearing Doctors has been first rate. His explanations are thorough and concise and I have been happy with his recommendations. Also, the office staff is unfailingly pleasant and helpful.

They were able to accommodate me with an early morning appointment. Once at their office everyone was very cheerful and professional and thorough. It's nerve racking enough to be in a doctor's office but their pleasant demeanor made it all the more pleasurable!

I met with a very nice audiologist, who seemed competent. However, I found their payment practices to be very strange. Although they accepted my insurance, they wanted an up-front payment for hearing aids even though they were covered by my insurance. I was told they would refund me the money when the insurance paid them. So, they were planning to get a payment from both myself AND my insurance company. I don't know if this is fraudulent, but it is definitely unusual. Also, despite the fact that they accepted my insurance, to continue seeing audiologists on a regular basis, they wanted me to sign up for a "plan" that required additional payment. Unless I misunderstood what their audiologist was explaining about their billing, there is something VERY fishy about this company. I am so glad I found a different reputable audiologist who took my insurance and didn't charge me anything. Beware of this place. They have irregular payment practices. If you don't mind paying them twice, through insurance and yourself, they seem like an OK place.
