Bigger and better than expected. Detailed history. Friendly staff. Gift store packed with subway merchandise.

My son loved it. Was nice seeing all the old trains. Very hot down there do lol. Best part is probably the store if you a collector or your kid love trains

Spent about 1h30min here. This place is reconstructed from an old station underground. The historical archive made with texts, photos, old train & advertising are so interesting. The staff are m warm and welcoming! There’s a cute store The down sides are: it’s a bit hot inside without the AC and there’s neither phone service nor WiFi.

This is a terrific place to learn about the history of nyc mass transit and take a nostalgic look back at the old subway cars and advertisements.

Such a great museum!
